Before Christopher Nolan came along, the Batman movies were sliding into extremely cheesy territory. One low point is Batman Forever, in which best supporting actor nominee Jones plays Two-Face. It's not to say this superhero flick isn't entertaining, but it's because of gems like this line, delivered by Jones: "The bat's stubborn refusal to expire . . . is driving us insane!"
