5 Facts to Know About Network Ten's New Drama Puberty Blues

Network Ten has put the spotlight on Sydney’s Sutherland Shire in 2012 with two reality offerings — The Shire (obviously) and Being Lara Bingle (to an extent) — and soon it will put the focus on the sunny stretch of sand with its new drama series, Puberty Blues. Many Australians are familiar with the story, perhaps due to its inclusion in the English curriculum, but for others, such as the new social media-obsessed generation, it will be a chance to be introduced to the iconic tale of two teenage girls growing up in the ’70s, and everything they encounter along the way.

Puberty Blues premieres on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 8:30 p.m. on Network Ten.
