The glorious Kristen Stewart graces the October cover of Marie Claire Australia looking very girly in a lilac top. Inside she tells the mag about her red carpet moments and posing for photo shoots. What do you think of Kristen’s striking, but simple cover? Vote now on Fabsugar!
Nicole Richie struck some gorgeous poses in her photoshoot for InStyle magazine, and landed the cover of the October issue. Inside she talks about her past, taking responsibility, regrets and her children Harlow and Sparrow. Here are some extracts:
On the past: “One thing about me is that I’ve always taken responsibility for my own actions whether they’re good or bad. Even when I was going through my tough time, that was a situation that I created. People ask me, do I blame Hollywood or my parents? No I don’t blame my parents. It had nothing to do with them. I created it and manifested it and I got myself through it with the help of a lot of great people.”
On pregnancy: “Being pregnant with Harlow was easy. I was wearing heels for eight months. I never got sick and I was like, ‘Oh, what are people talking about?’ But with Sparrow, I was so sick. And my feet were swelling. They were polar opposite pregnancies.”
On Harlow: “She picks her own clothes. It’s a 20-minute thing—it begins at 7.30 each morning—but it is what it is and it’s fine."
"[W[e're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book... I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show. It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."
The majority of you weren't in favour of the scene being cut entirely, and I'd love to know what you think of this latest development. Are you glad, or should it be toned down?
Sex and the Citystar Jason Lewis is the latest celeb to head Down Under for a little promo action. Last night he hit The Ivy in Sydney and got his boogie on for the new Xbox 360 Kinect controller-free interactive experience. He was joined by So You Think You Can Dancechoreographer Adam Williams, as well as Erin McNaught and Michelle Bridges. Who knew Smith Jerrod had such moves? Jason has dated Cameron Diaz and Rosario Dawson and has a "semi-famous" girlfriend in tow for his trip, but refuses to reveal her name. Wonder who the lucky mystery lady is? We're on the case!
Andy Roddick had the support of lots of celebrity fans despite being knocked out of the US Open in the second round during an upset loss to Janko Tipsarevic yesterday. Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens was shocked to watch Andy's defeat, but he still got to go home with his gorgeous wife Brooklyn Decker, who chatted with John Legend before the match. Kanye West shared a laugh and a few drinks with Selita Ebanks, while right behind them Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr cuddled close. The on-again, off-again Gossip Girl couple are apparently still back together, stealing kisses between shots.
Jessica Alba's dress was party in the front and gala in the back for last night's premiere of Machete at the Venice Film Festival. Jessica's husband Cash stayed behind and wished her luck from home in California so she brought her dad as her red carpet date instead. She and her co-stars helped kick things off the previous evening at a bash honouring Quentin Tarantino. She's every bit the movie star when she poses for the cameras, but Jessica is also happy to talk about her most important role: mum. She recently gushed about Honor's latest milestone, saying, "She loves to identify people's gender. She's funny about it, because she knows what a boy is and what a girl is and what makes them a boy or a girl. She likes to talk about it right when she meets people. It's a little embarrassing. She thinks she's really funny, and she is funny."
Kate Hudson is on the cover of Elle UK's special 25th anniversary edition. (Watch a behind-the-scenes video on Fab.) The actress opened up to the magazine while on hols last month in Europe, and she spoke about her life, work and family. She also touched on her marriage to Chris Robinson, as well as her budding romance with Muse rocker Matt Bellamy. Kate said:
On Matt Bellamy: "He's lovely."
On someday marrying again: "It's definitely not something I'm looking for. But the divorce doesn't put me off. I'll just see what happens. I think a lot of times people are terrified of love and stop themselves from experiencing it. I don't ever want to get that jaded. I do believe in love. I believe that when you really open yourself up to love, it's the most beautiful thing."
On her work currently: "I have no interest in doing anything right now. I think that happens sometimes. You get burnt out. I have to recharge. Artistically, I have zero competitive nature—to the point where I wish I had a little more sometimes."
On her ex-husband, Chris Robinson: "Chris is a wellspring of information. He knows more about music than anyone I've ever met. I still feel close to him. When you're divorced and raising a child together, the communication has to stay alive. It's hard sometimes. If you have kids with someone, make sure you really, really like the father because, for your child's sake, you have to be on the same page forever. Chris has moved on, he's remarried and had a baby and when you both have new people in your life, you have to really stay on it. I think Chris and I both have that priority checked."
On her favourite song from Matt's band, Muse: "My favourite Muse song? Ha ha ha! I'm not well-versed enough on that. I'm getting there though. Matt and I are just learning about each other and it's wonderful."
