TV icon Andy Griffith passed away at his North Carolina home on Tuesday morning. He was 86. The actor was famous for his role as Sheriff Andy Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show, which ran from 1960-68. He is survived by his third wife, Cindi, and two children from a previous marriage.
