With two well-known people passing away this week, it's only natural that Twitter was awash with tribute tweets and words of reflection. Paul Walker's shock death had scores of celebrities tweeting their sorrow, but none were more heartfelt than those of his Fast & Furious co-stars. Nelson Mandela's passing yesterday was mourned around the globe, and Rihanna was just one high-profile star to mourn his death publically. It wasn't all doom and gloom, though — Joel Madden made sure of that! He and Jessica Biel both made us laugh out loud with their funny tweets, while many others like Anna Kendrick, John Legend and Ellen DeGerenes kept us entertained throughout the week. It was a musician-heavy collection of tweets that entertained us this week, with stars such as Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Lorde all providing great talking points for us via social media. Lorde took Complex magazine to task after they hinted at a rivalry with Nicki Minaj and Drake, while Taylor Swift was all about the fans. Superstar-in-the-making Ariana Grande sounded like she'd had enough, Justin Bieber took time to be grateful, and Aussie singer Cody Simpson gave a shout-out to Sydney — but the best exchange we saw? The one where Kim Kardashian tweeted Seth Rogen to tell him what she thought of his and James Franco's knock-off of the Bound 2 video. So good. Curious to see it all? Click through to read all!
Celebrities went to town on Twitter this week! There was no shortage of funny quips, amusing reactions, and pop culture references — and there was the odd celebrity mention, too! Olivia Wilde dished the dirt on her relationship with her Xbox, Network 10 star Natasha Exelby reacted (in a funny way) to her shock firing, Lily Allen got a bit excited about who was on her plane, and The Bachelor star Tim Robards melted hearts with a gorgeous tweet about his new love, Anna. Katy Perry got real about unconditional love — gotta love her honesty! — and Miley Cyrus is ready to party for her 21st birthday today. Ready to jump in? Is Ben Affleck worried about the Batman competition? On Friday, #Batkid became a top trend when San Francisco transformed into Gotham City to fulfil the wish of 5-year-old Miles Scott, a child who's battled leukemia for years. The adorable, heart-melting Batkid Make-a-Wish day had San Francisco locals gathering all over the city to support Batkid, and several celebrities took to social media to root for the little one, too. Take a look at all the famous faces who couldn't get enough of the sweet Batkid story, from actors who have played Batman to President Barack Obama.
Even Batman couldn't have done better than Batkid.

During an interview, Christian Bale was over the moon about the whole thing:
"Wasn't that fantastic? I looked on the news and I saw this headline and thought, 'What's that?' And I saw all the pictures of him running around and saving people. It's so touching. He must have been bewildered! Hopefully, later on, he'll be able to look back and say, 'Oh my God, how amazing.'"
We're pretty sure Anna Kendrick speaks for all of us.

Twitter can be a powerful tool for celebrities to communicate with fans and friends, but it's also the perfect place to dispel rumours. One star who took the opportunity? Australian actress Margot Robbie. She took to her account on Thursday to clear up some truths about her relationship with Will Smith (the pair are filming Focus together) and didn't mince her words. Other celebrities hit social media to sociallise and philosophise: Cameron Diaz finally joined the Twittersphere, Aaron Paul made mention of a city close to his heart, Ellen DeGeneres got rich (so she thinks) and Chris Lilley made friends with a super-cool US band. Plenty more stars got active on Twitter this week — click through to read the best ones we could find!
Sure, male celebrities can be hilarious — but this week we couldn't stop laughing out loud at some of the tweets sent out by female celebrities. From Chrissy Teigen's no-holds-barred observation of January Jones, to Olivia Wilde's funny and sweet pregnancy confirmation and Megan Washington's mini meltdown, there was no end to the entertainment we garnered from the women in this gallery. Australian rapper Iggy Azalea made us cringe with her Twitter tale, singer Pink defended her sweet little family, Jesinta Campbell got back to work after a day at the races yesterday. . . And there's so much more! Click through now to read this week's best celebrity tweets.
Celebrities make entertaining us their business, so it's no surprise that their Twitter feeds are one of the most hilarious sources of information on the internet. From Anna Kendrick letting us know she doesn't mind a bit of Tim Gunn, to funnyman Rainn Wilson trying out his pick-up lines and Lena Dunham making like Mia Farrow, there's no end to the interesting information you can glean from this gallery. Who's Guy Sebastian lending his support to? What's Sophie Monk spruiking? It's all in here — and so much more — when you click through!
There are more than a few celebrities we can rely on for a good laugh — and Hamish Blake certainly hasn't let us down this time around! The radio funnyman kept us entertained on more than one occasion this week, first with his Justice Crew quip, and secondly when 50 Cent (yes, the 50 Cent) singled him out on social media. Why? You'll have to click through to find out! Luckily, Hamish's mate Andy was there to back his buddy up. Also needing a bit of support? The poor female celebrity who got mistaken for a man, One Direction's Liam, who had his underpants stolen while in Sydney, and Ke$ha, who had some bad news to share with her Australian fans. There's much more inside — come along!
