Blake Lively showed off her long legs during a photo shoot in NYC today and modelled a series of looks for an upcoming US magazine spread. The actress has been keeping a low profile for the past few months but re-emerged on the social scene in a big way yesterday when she attended the 2013 Met Gala wearing a stunning Gucci gown. Unlike other couples who were loved-up on the red carpet, Blake was solo — she and husband Ryan Reynolds still prefer to keep their relationship away from cameras, as they demonstrated at the March premiere of Ryan’s animation The Croods, which Blake attended while keeping a distance from her husband.

Blake Lively stunned in a Gucci frock on the Costume Institute Benefit red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Blake is back in on the action after being notably absent from last year's ball in favour of a getaway to Vancouver with now-husband Ryan Reynolds. She is somewhat of a Met Gala vet, and Blake even stole the coveted role as Karl Lagerfeld's date while representing Chanel for the event back in 2011. Blake Lively posed for a shot inside Elle Decor and chatted about the new home she and Ryan Reynolds purchased in Bedford, NY. She gushed about decorating the kitchen, which will feature a blue La Cornue stove, and shared that the space is "the most important part of my home." Blake and Ryan have been lying low since tying the knot last year, though they did step out for the LA premiere of Ryan's The Croods earlier this month. Here's more from Blake Lively in Elle Decor:

• On sharing the kitchen with family: "But I'll have to fight my mum for it. She is an amazing chef. We've got a big family, and we're very close. My brothers are great at pies, and the girls usually do the savoury things."
• On her favourite recipes: "I never really cook from recipes. But the worst is when something turns out great and I can't figure out how to make it again!"

Sarah Jessica Parker and Blake Lively helped launch Canada's first Target store in Toronto yesterday. Blake wore a Roland Mouret dress and Christian Louboutin shoes while SJP kept things a bit more casual in white jeans. The pair were joined by Canadian actress and Happy Endings star Elisha Cuthbert, who shopped around the store and later gushed about meeting Sarah Jessica. She tweeted, "What a dream, chatting and hanging out with the one and only Sarah Jessica Parker."

Blake is no stranger to the country, as she is married to Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, and the two hung out there in February while Ryan filmed Queen of the Night. Blake has been taking some time off from work after she wrapped Gossip Girl last year. Meanwhile, her Target shopping buddy SJP is reportedly working on two films and recently checked out the Tilda Swinton sleeping in a box exhibit at New York's Museum of Modern Art.
