when i saw photos of them in that booth...all i could think is "gross." i didn't think hot, ooh, interesting, just gross...it just looked very dark...first of all they're all in black, there's a certain air of codependency and also desperation between the two of them. he looked like a homeless man, who's gone slightly bonkers, when holding onto her, and when he was alone with his son, he looked 80 years old, and looked like the character from the book, old man and the sea. and the way he's kissing her, it just seems so forced, yet so devoid of passion at the same time, a weird combination... these two are done..they're just trying to save face, announce the split when they want to, and get some money from the newspaper.

I understand it and don't blame them. They have children who are old enough to understand the headlines and who have friends old enough to understand the headlines. As teenagers, who cares, but little kids hearing and seeing that their parents are splitting up has got to be traumatic. They should sue.

They always said they would ignore tabloid rumors until they made it to a credible news source. The tabloid break up stories was reported on CNN. That put a fork in it. Which is awesome considering they are friends with Murdock and stayed in his Long Island home to film Salt. Now they are suing one of his publications.

Some of their older children might be old enough to read these trashy articles about their imminent "break-up." Poor kids. I think that's who Brad and Angelina must be trying to protect with this lawsuit. I know my kid would be devastated to read that kind of thing online. My kid "googles" me all the time and I'm not even famous!

they never struck me as the suing type, that's so much more of a tom & katie thing. they don't owe anyone anything as far as an explanation (all couples fight and experience ups and downs in a relationship) so why bother suing, not to mention, it's only going to add fuel to the fire. i do think all the sudden pda and sudden outings is waaay to obvious, yeah they are kissing and all that, but the body language shows something else, esp with brad, he looks totally detached. maybe they just need to go to Clooneys villa for a few weeks without the kiddos and reconnect.

I'm not sure why they waited 3 WEEKS if they were going to sue because one of their kids asked them if what they read was true ( assuming they're suing because it's devastated the kids) then I can see that being a legit reason but still not sure why they waited so long.

i think they want to re-gain control of the external situation, since they obviously can't gain control over their own relationship. it's easier to sue a magazine, than to have a healthy, normal relationship. so many things have been written about them in the media, and they feel powerless, so this is their way of asserting their power...it doesn't mean the news reports aren't true..they're both very desperate...there's no longer that cool facade, that hidden strength of the relationship, they realize their ship is sinking and they're trying to hold onto anything for dear life, even awkwardly forced make-out sessions.
