i think that it's really a testament to how she's resilient and able to rebound from everything. even if she doesn't win the grammy - just to know that she's come full circle this year - well that's what's important.

What an ugly cover. Her shoes are about the only thing interesting on it. Elle and Spears can do a lot better.

i am so happy for her. she has come a long way and im so glad she straightened up and got her head on right because she was really going down hill....i think this is good for her whether she actually wins it or not. she definately deserves it!

How does she deserve it? She has zero talent. A lot of people come back from the brink and with a lot less help and money than Britney has. She's just a typical overly pampered entitled celebrity brat.

She was talented once. That girl had one helluva set of pipes on her. If you don't believe me, go to youtube and search her performances of "Open Arms" or her mall tour. Somewhere along the line she lost her voice and never cared to get training to get it back. She was also one helluva dancer. People can say she's talentless now, but to deny she was once is utterly stupid. Nowadays she still has a presence about her, but that talent is gone and I don't think she really cares. She's got her boys to worry about. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't even show at the ceremony. That said, despite her loss of talent in the last 5-6 years (which is due to the fact that she doesn't put effort in it), she does work with some of the best producers. I think that's who Womanizer's nod is "nodding" to. I think Poker Face will take it though. Easily.

Even they couldnt make her hair look decent. the coat has a better stylist than she does. its like gold plating Sh*t.

I'm kind of rooting for her in life in general, but the Grammy-award nomination just baffles me. Her song is so bad that it's embarrassing. Music these days is really going downhill!

I like Britney alot. She's a Woman that has gone through the fire and come out on the other side stronger than ever. She's like the energizer bunny she keeps going and going and.....Next up? Lindsay Lohan, girl take notes.

I'm with Anon 14. I like her and really glad she's managed to turn things around but i still think she's got a lot to prove. Womanizer was catchy but totally filtered and robotic...definitely not Grammy worthy in my opinion.

Funny how even the grammy's seem to have become a popularity contest. Instead of recognizing talent and giving credit where credit is due, they're handing out nominations like candy on halloween to those who deserve it the least. I like Brit but a grammy seems a little far-fetched. As some have pointed out, she may have other priorities now, and that's fine, but she hasn't done much to deserves this and it's a shame because there are many others who have and are not being recognized for it.

it's all about opinion and tastes. For me, britney has GREAT music and never ceases to disappoint with each and every song. I know lots of people think lady gaga is so worth being grammy-nominated and what-not (and I like her some music as well) but to me, she's mostly just a walking halloween parade.
