The Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA played host to tons of Golden Globes parties after the big show wrapped on yesterday. US InStyle threw one bash that brought out couples including Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr as well as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham. Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez made it a girls' night and sampled some Godiva chocolate-covered strawberries. Jennifer Garner said hello to Olympian Gabby Douglas on her way inside. Jennifer's husband, Ben Affleck, celebrated his multiple Argo wins with his happy brother, Casey. The night's biggest arrival may have been Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, who received a big welcome after recently announcing their plans to scrap their divorce.

It was a special night for Miranda and Orlando — the sexy couple celebrated Orlando's birthday at the event after hitting the Globes red carpet looking glamorous together earlier in the evening. Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, host Amy Poehler, and Cecil B. DeMille lifetime of achievement award winner Jodie Foster all got in on the fun at the magazine's party as well — click through to see their photos and many more!

I'm Still Here: My Least Favourite Joaquin Phoenix Movie

If you're unfamiliar with the saga that has been Joaquin Phoenix's career for the past two years, let me refresh your memory.

If you're unfamiliar with the saga that has been Joaquin Phoenix's career for the past two years, let me refresh your memory. In October 2008, he abruptly announced that he was retiring from acting without giving much explanation. A few months later, he revealed that his brother-in-law, Casey Affleck, was directing a documentary chronicling his career change from actor to rapper. The bizarre news left many of us scratching our heads, and the fruit of Affleck and Phoenix's "collaboration" is equally confounding. I'm Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix takes us through Phoenix's changes, both physical and emotional. He starts off as the clean-cut, handsome actor whose career is just taking off thanks to Oscar-nominated roles in Gladiator and Walk the Line. What we're left with is the haggard, pot-bellied, petulant shell of a man who has lost his way entirely. As I watched Phoenix call prostitutes, ask Diddy for career advice, and pummel a heckler during one of his hip-hop shows, I had to wonder: if this film really isn't a hoax, then why was Casey Affleck filming these hijinks instead of getting help for his friend and family member?

For more of my thoughts on the film, just read on.

Matt Damon Is Celebrated and Roasted by Ben, Jennifer, Charlize and George!

Matt Damon was the centre of attention on Saturday night as he received the American Cinematheque Award in LA, with his family and close friends there to celebrate.

Matt Damon was the centre of attention on Saturday night as he received the American Cinematheque Award in LA, with his family and close friends there to celebrate. The proceedings didn't get too serious, since Matt's friends like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and Charlize Theron all took the stage to take good-natured pokes at him. Jennifer kicked things off by joking about Matt and Ben's legendary friendship—she said, "Ben is half of one of the greatest love stories ever told. Not with me. The actual prototype for the great Hollywood Bromance . . . Here's proof that love is alive and well in Hollywood. At least for my darling husband and my husband's darling husband."  Ben, meanwhile, supposedly quoted Matt's father upon hearing that his son would play the lover of Michael Douglas' Liberace. According to Ben, the elder Mr. Damon said, "'Terrific Matt. I can't wait to see you up there blowing Michael Douglas under a piano while he's playing 'Stardust.'" Matt's tributes also included a video message from George Clooney, who delivered his thoughts from the middle of what looked like a prostate exam, as well as one from Bill Clinton. Luciana Damon was there to support her husband and the duo shared one of the evening's sweetest moments with a hug backstage. Matt finally was able to humbly accept the honour, with Ben by his side, saying, "Ben, my hetero-lifemate. You're my best friend and there's nobody in the business I hold in higher regard. I can honestly say that next year, at this time, Ben could be here. . . presenting this award to someone else."
