Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr, Hayden Panettiere, Josh Duhamel and More at 2011 Celebrity Beach Bowl

Some celebrities may have prepared for the Super Bowl by rubbing shoulders with other A-listers at parties, but others decided to get into the spirit by participating in DIRECTV’s fifth annual Celebrity Beach Bowl! Celebs like Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szohr and Chace Crawford, Glee’s Chord Overstreet and Matthew Morrison, Hayden Panettiere, Josh Duhamel, Marisa Miller and more were divided into two teams — Team Spike and Team Palladia. They got down and dirty on the field, sporting jerseys with their names and doing their best to win the flag football game for their team. Hayden was named the “Most Inspirational Player” of the day while Entourage’s Jerry Ferrara scored the title of “Most Valuable Player”. And even though his Team Palladia lost, Josh Duhamel says it was heaps of fun: “I’ll definitely do this again next year.” Click through to see all the stars in action!
