Zooey, Lea and Josh Step Out For a Star-Studded Fox Party

Zooey Deschanel, Lea Michele and Joshua Jackson joined the rest of the stars from US network Fox for Sunday night's TCA bash in Pasadena.

Zooey Deschanel, Lea Michele and Joshua Jackson joined the rest of the stars from US network Fox for Sunday night's TCA bash in Pasadena. Zooey was on her own for the panel earlier in the day, but her New Girl guys joined her at the party to mix and mingle with the TV press. Lea was decked out in a gorgeous blue dress with a daring slit and the rest of her Glee co-stars were also scattered throughout the event talking about what's next for their characters. Joshua Jackson's show Fringe has an uncertain future on the network, though his handsome face was still a very welcome sight. Diane Kruger usually comes along with Josh for the TCAs, but she skipped out on this one.

2011 Sugar Awards: Vote on the Biggest Celeb News Headline!

What a year we’ve had in celebrity news.

What a year we’ve had in celebrity news. It was hard to pick only six of the many events that occurred over the past 12 months, but these are some of the ones that had us talking the most. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s fairytale royal wedding in April will be etched in people’s minds for a long time to come, while the other huge celebrity wedding of the year, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’, ended in divorce just 72 days later. Charlie Sheen made plenty of headlines after he was axed from Two and a Half Men earlier in the year and went into meltdown mode, while Amy Winehouse sadly passed away in July. Deni Hines was a big talking point for her diva-like antics on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, and in happier news Beyoncé announced to the world that she was pregnant at the MTV VMAs in August. Have your say — what was the biggest celebrity headline of 2011?

What Did You Think of Ashton's Two and a Half Men Debut?

Two and a Half Men premiered to a massive Australian and American audience last night.

Two and a Half Men premiered to a massive Australian and American audience last night. 2.293 million Aussies tuned in to watch Ashton Kutcher’s first episode as Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, while more than 27 million viewers in the US did the same just hours before. It opened with Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) funeral and continued as his brother Alan (Jon Cryer) found himself in a tricky financial situation with Charlie’s beachside home up for sale. Walden made his (soaked) appearance just as Alan was about to spread Charlie’s ashes in the ocean, after a failed attempt to commit suicide after being dumped by his wife. Alan and Walden then bonded over their troubles in their lives, and right at the end (after various naked Ashton shots and before the ‘To be continued . . .’) Walden conveniently bought the beach house.

Ashton’s portrayal of Walden was fairly toned down compared to some of the previous characters he’s played, though it seems like he fits right into the Two and a Half Men family. How do you think Ashton went?

Transformation of Two and a Half Men Actor Angus T. Jones Throughout the Years

Two and a Half Men returns on Channel Nine tonight, and it’s probably safe to say that the season premiere of a returning show in 2011 has never been more anticipated. The season nine debut marks Ashton Kutcher’s first episode as Walden Schmidt, an internet billionaire with a broken heart. It will also show the aftermath of the funeral of Charlie Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper. While we’re all hanging out to see how Ashton fits in with Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones, we’re also taking a look at how Angus has grown over the years. Angus started on the show in 2003, when he was just 10 years old! Now 17, the chubby cheeks are gone, and last year Angus was the highest paid child actor on US television, earning US$300,000 an episode. So before you tune in to see how Angus’ character Jake Harper reacts to his uncle’s death and the arrival of Walden, check out his transformation!

Two and a Half Men premieres tonight at 8:30 p.m. on Channel Nine.

Ashton Kutcher's Two and a Half Men debut is just a few weeks away, but until now we've never had the details on how he came about taking the role.
