Ruby Rose is transitioning her DJ career into that of a full-fledged musician, and Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s son Connor is juggling disc jockeying and acting. The Hobbit Premiere Is a Red Carpet Reunion For Liv, Elijah, and More

An epic adventure continued at last night's premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in NYC.

An epic adventure continued at last night's premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in NYC. The film's stars gathered at the Ziegfeld Theatre for the event, just over a week after the world premiere in New Zealand. In New York, leading man Martin Freeman joined his costar Andy Serkis, who in real life doesn't look much like his character Gollum. Ian McKellen laughed with Richard Armitage and director Peter Jackson. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the first in a trio of Hobbit films planned by Peter. Next up is The Hobbit: There and Back Again, which will feature Orlando Bloom and Benedict Cumberbatch. This latest series follows on the heels of Peter's Lord of the Rings franchise. Also in attendance were former costars and members of the Lord of the Rings clan, Liv Tyler and Elijah Wood. Other guests who caught an early showing of the film included Chevy Chase, Terry O'Quinn, and Patrick Stewart. The Hobbit will open to the public when it hits cinemas on Dec. 26.

The Week in Pictures: Kate & Wills, Miranda & Flynn, Kate Bosworth, Diane & More!

To say it's been a big week might be a bit of an understatement.

To say it's been a big week might be a bit of an understatement. The 2012 ARIA Awards dominated the Aussie celebrity scene on Thursday night, with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Russell Brand and many more turning up to celebrate our music industry's night of nights. Overseas, Katy Perry was a busy girl, first making an appearance at the UNICEF Snowflake charity ball with Selena Gomez, before being given a big honour at the Billboard Women in Music lunch. Miranda Kerr took her little guy Flynn everywhere with her this week (obviously looking uber-stylish, always) and Kate and Wills reminded us that, yes, they are still one of the cutest couples in the world. There was so much to see, it was easy to miss some events this week . . . but don't worry, we've got you covered. Click through the gallery to catch up!

Rachel, Kirsten, Minka and a Fashionable Hollywood Crowd Celebrate Art of Elysium's Heaven Gala

Rachel Bilson, Kirsten Dunst and Minka Kelly stepped up their fashion game Saturday night at LA's Union Station in support of the Art of Elysium's annual Heaven Gala.

Rachel Bilson, Kirsten Dunst and Minka Kelly stepped up their fashion game Saturday night at LA's Union Station in support of the Art of Elysium's annual Heaven Gala. Rachel, dressed in a frock from Chanel's Spring 2012 collection, arrived solo, though later met up with her Hart of Dixie co-star Jaime King who was wearing Valentino. Minka selected a bright Oscar de la Renta gown for the occasion while actress Camilla Belle modelled a bold Carolina Herrera. Newlywed Molly Sims hit the red carpet with her husband, Scott Stuber, in a coral grecian gown. The mum-to-be stopped posed with her hand on her growing baby bump and then stopped to share a hug with stylist Brad Goreski.

Busy Philipps arrived in a beaded gown and said the evening's etherial theme inspired her final dress decision. Today she'll be accompanying best actress nominee Michelle Williams to the Golden Globes and said she'll have her "fingers crossed" when Michelle's category is announced. Singer Estelle kept the crowd entertained during the celebration, in addition to a vintage couture fashion show sponsored by Decades. The gala, celebrating its fifth year, was originially created to celebrate artists who dedicate their time to children battling serious illness. Kirsten Dunst, in a black Valentino, was previously recognised for her philanthropic work with the charity and this year that honour was bestowed on The Hobbit's Elijah Wood. Elijah took the stage and thanked the organisation saying, "It has enriched my life to be a part of this tirelessly dedicated family and the lives of the children they've transformed.”

Scarlett Johansson, David Arquette, Anna Kendrick and Elijah Wood were out last night to support Art of Elysium's Pieces of Heaven art auction in LA. During her break from shooting We Bought a Zoo with Matt Damon, Scarlett posed with the charity's founder, Jennifer Howell, and placed bids on the items up for grabs. Scarlett's also on the list of presenters at Monday's Oscars. David, who is fresh out of a stint in rehab, attended after recently sitting down with Oprah. Their interview, which airs today in the US, includes David sharing about his lifelong battle with alcohol and what drove him to seek help. Other long-term fans of the organisation like Justin Bartha and Topher Grace turned out looking casual after suiting up for last month's Heaven Gala. They also signed a white Chrysler that's going to the highest charitable bidder. Twilight's Anna Kendrick picked up a pen to support the cause, as did Ginnifer Goodwin and adorable couple Dave Annable and Odette Yustman.
