Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and the rest of the cast of Breaking Bad had a lot to smile about at the Emmys this year. The guys didn't win any individual awards this year, but Anna Gunn joined their Emmys club with her statuette for outstanding supporting actress in a drama. Of course, the real icing on the cake was when Breaking Bad won the night's top honours with the award for outstanding drama series for the first time. Take a look back at their big night from the red carpet to the after parties.
Emmy Awards day was a veritable style marathon. Before, during, and even after the Emmys, the Hollywood set kept the fashion coming with the BAFTA tea and the HBO and Fox and FX Emmys afterparties. So, while you may have called it a night right after the awards wrapped, Emma Roberts in a bold Stella McCartney gown, Michelle Dockery, and more of the fashion pack kept the fun — and the looks — coming after hours. The Emmy Awards are done and dusted for 2013! Before the show got underway inside the Nokia Theatre in LA, TV’s biggest stars walked the red carpet. Nominee Sofia Vergara put her signature curves on display in red Vera Wang, while Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston were the talk of the industry with their penultimate episode airing today — the show was honoured with the outstanding drama series Emmy. Claire Danes, who won the outstanding lead actress in a drama series for the second year in a row for her role in Homeland, had her husband Hugh Dancy for the support on the red carpet, and also bumped into her good friend Lena Dunham, and Rose Byrne made a sleek appearance in midriff-baring Calvin Klein.

Homeland actress and now triple Emmy Award Winner Claire Danes didn't disappoint on the red carpet, looking every bit the leading lady in a frothy Armani Prive gown with a plunging, sheer neckline, Neil Lane jewellery, custom Christian Louboutin shoes and a Tods clutch. Meanwhile, Australian beauty Rose Byrne showed fashion fans everywhere how to do midriff like a lady, opting for a strappy pale pink Calvin Klein dress and simple stack bracelets and rings. Matt Damon suited up in Giorgio Armani for the 2013 Emmy Awards in LA today. He was joined by his wife, Luciana, who shined on the red carpet in a gold Naeem Khan gown. Matt faced some fierce competition as he squared off against his Behind the Candelabra co-star, Michael Douglas, who took home the award for outstanding lead actor in a miniseries or movie. This isn't Matt's first Emmy nomination, as he was honoured for his guest appearance on 30 Rock in 2011 (maybe we'll see him link up with Tina Fey inside the ceremony?). He pulled double duty today when he and Michael introduced Elton John's Liberace tribute and also presented the outstanding lead actress in a miniseries award to Laura Linney.
Matt and Luciana got giggly in their front-row seats during Michael Douglas's acceptance speech. The actor thanked Matt onstage, saying that the movie was "a two-hander" and that he was planning on sharing the Emmy with his co-star, adding, "Do you want the top or the bottom?" The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards are over, and some of the small screen's most famous faces took over the Nokia Theatre in LA. It's the second time Neil Patrick Harris has hosted the show, and he opened alongside past hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jane Lynch before Jimmy Fallon and Conan O'Brien also joined the group on stage. That wasn't the only surprise at the start of the show, though — when Merritt Wever won the first award of the night for best supporting actress in a comedy, she gave a quick thanks before saying she "had to go." She was presented the award by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who had the crowd cracking up when they told Neil to take his pants off before crawling up the stairs.
This year's Emmy presenters included actors and actresses like Matt Damon, Jon Hamm and Sofia Vergara. Will Ferrell took the stage as a "last minute" presenter alongside his kids, and stylish stars like Kerry Washington and Claire Danes also took the mic. Throughout the show, there were also several thoughtful speeches commemorating actors and actors who passed this year, including a Jane Lynch's sweet tribute to Cory Monteith and Edie Falco's moving words about James Gandolfini.
