Adriana Lima and Karolina Kurkova donned sexy black dresses to attend watch brand IWC Schaffhausen's party at Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie on Tuesday in Geneva, Switzerland. The models were joined by Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey, as well as Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane for the event. Karolina also donned a bright red ensemble, while Adriana emerged in a black-and-white dress to pose for the festivities. Adriana made the trip overseas after taking care of modelling duties for Victoria's Secret. Adriana and Erin Heatherton launched VS' new fitness line together at the brand's Herald Square NYC store last week. Ewan, meanwhile, travelled to Switzerland following his appearance at the Golden Globes earlier this month, when he was nominated for Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.
One thing's clear: Aussies certainly made their mark on the world map this week! In Spain, supermodel Miranda Kerr was announced as the face of cult fashion label Mango, while in LA, Hugh Jackman received a much-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Cate Blanchett made waves in London, where she wowed the crowds in a long white dress, and Naomi Watts hung with her The Impossible co-stars at a private screening. As for the non-Aussies? They were busy too — one international superstar hit our shores for a string of concerts, one cute couple did some Christmas shopping together, and a group of five girls put their girl power together once again. There's plenty to see, so click through to check it all out!
Julia Roberts met up with some of her famous friends for lunch at Hal's Bar and Grill in Venice, CA, on Friday. She was joined by her August: Osage County co-stars Ewan McGregor (and his wife, Eve Mavrakis), Dermot Mulroney, and Julianne Nicholson for a casual meal. Filming has reportedly wrapped on the production, but it appears the friends are intent on keeping in touch. Julia's next project pairs her with another fellow A-lister, Brad Pitt. Brad's production company, Plan B, is producing The Normal Heart, which is set to star Julia alongside Matt Bomer and Alec Baldwin.
As for Ewan, he's got an exciting few months ahead. His name has been thrown around recently as Oscar buzz is building around his gripping role in The Impossible. It appears Ewan's already got Angelina Jolie on his side, so it's possible he could get Julia's support as well. Dermot may not be in the hunt for an Academy Award, but he does have his sights set on Park City, Utah. Dermot's forthcoming project The Rambler is among the first-round films announced for 2013's official Sundance Film Festival lineup.
Naomi Watts hit the red carpet alongside Ewan McGregor at the BFI IMAX theatre in London last night to debut their movie The Impossible. She modelled a high-volume 'do and showed some skin in a Tom Ford black dress, and Ewan was his typical fashion-forward self in a dark grey checkered suit. The movie is based on the true story of a family of five vacationing in Thailand during the 2004 Asian tsunami, and it arrives in Australian cinemas on Jan. 24. It's actually the second time Naomi and Ewan have worked together; they also co-starred in 2005's Stay.
Naomi's partner, Liev Schreiber, wasn't able to attend, since he's back in NYC shooting his own movie. Liev's been logging long hours on the Brooklyn set of Fading Gigolo with Vanessa Paradis. He was, though, able to take a break over the weekend to bring their oldest son, Sasha, to see the Knicks play the Indiana Pacers.

The 65th Cannes Film Festival is underway, and jurors like Diane Kruger and Ewan McGregor gathered yesterday morning on the Croisette for a kickoff photo call. She shared the red carpet with other starlets like Jessica Chastain, L'Oréal brand ambassador Eva Longoria, and Bruce Willis.
There was plenty more going on yesterday as well. Meanwhile, his real-life wife, Isla Fisher, was off doing interviews with her Rise of the Guardians co-stars Chris Pine and Alec Baldwin.
Diane Kruger made her first official appearance as a member of the Cannes Film Festival jury yesterday in Cannes, France. She stepped out in a burgundy mini-dress by Versus and Jimmy Choo heels, which showed off some skin on the bright, sunny afternoon. Diane joined fellow jurors, including Ewan McGregor, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander Payne, and more to talk about their involvement in the festival and what it means to be selected as a member of the prestigious panel. Diane arrived in France ahead of the evening's opening night and big red-carpet premiere of Moonrise Kingdom. Diane has made some memorable fashion choices at Cannes over the years and we can't wait to see what she has planned this time.
Reese Witherspoon sparkled in Louis Vuitton at today's London premiere of This Means War. She was joined on the red carpet by her leading men, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and the film's director McG. Reese is the object of both Tom and Chris' affection in the romantic comedy, though in real life she only has eyes for husband Jim Toth. Jim and Reese shared a cute outing last weekend before she jetted off to Paris for a shopping trip. Reese spent a few days in France shopping through the city of light before making her way to England.
Tom and Chris have been equally busy leading up to today's international debut. This Means War is the first of three 2012 releases from Tom, including the highly anticipated blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises, as well as his dramatic period piece Wettest County. Chris is balancing appearances and projects as well with pre-production on J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, followed by the end-of-year release of Rise of the Guardians.
Blake Lively was decked out in Dolce & Gabbana last night for the NYC premiere of Haywire. She's not in the movie, but leads Ewan McGregor and Gina Carano were there from the cast, along with director Steven Soderbergh. Justin Bartha and Elizabeth Banks also rolled through to check out the screening, and joined the festivities at the after party, held at Sons of Essex.
Blake and Steven will work together soon, though. It was recently announced that Blake will star in Soderbergh's The Side Effects opposite Channing Tatum and Jude Law. For now, it's Gossip Girl that is Blake's main focus, as is her relationship with Ryan Reynolds.
Michelle Williams clutched her best actress in a comedy or musical Golden Globe for My Week With Marilyn en route to the Weinstein Company's after party last night. She posed on the carpet withouth her best friend and date, Busy Philipps. The girls met up inside, though, and Busy later tweeted her happiness for Michelle. Busy wrote, "That was genuinely one of the most fun nights ever. So incredibly proud of my best friend!" Harvey Weinstein got shout-outs in mutiple acceptance speeches last night, being alternatively referred to as "the punisher," or in a memorable quip from Meryl Streep, as "God." Meryl was another winner who turned out for the company's event. She took home the best actress in a drama honour for The Iron Lady.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's a close friend of Harvey's, caught up with his wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. Jason Statham, Rosie's boyfriend, was also there to share champagne with guys like Rob Lowe, Alexander Skarsgård, and Gerard Butler. Lots of stars and friends-of-the-famous rolled through the bash, including Cameron Diaz (modelling her new 'do), Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and a Beverly Hills housewife. Nominees like Octavia Spencer, Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern and winner Kelsey Grammer also stopped by — click through to see all the pictures!
