Reese Witherspoon addressed her recent arrest for disorderly conduct during a stop by Good Morning America today in NYC, where she was promoting her new movie, Mud. ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos asked Reese about her disorderly conduct charge and her husband Jim Toth's for DUI.
Reese spoke with remorse about the arrest, referring to it as "one of those nights." She said, "We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. We know better and we shouldn't have done that." Reese went on to explain her reaction further saying, "I saw him arresting my husband and I literally panicked. I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things."
Reese was also apologetic for her reaction to law enforcement officials, which she expressed, saying, "I was so disrespectful to him. I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It's just unacceptable." She also added a lighthearted joke as to the possible reason for handling the situation the way she did, placing the blame on her acting career. She said, "I played a lawyer in a movie so many times I think I am a lawyer, and, clearly, I'm not a lawyer because I got arrested." Apart from today's interview, Reese will revisit the incident again later this month, as her court appearance is scheduled for May 22 in Atlanta.

Robert Pattinson swung by Good Morning America yesterday in NYC to talk about his new movie, Cosmopolis. After carefully evading most talk about his personal life during Monday's stop at The Daily Show, Rob was similarly mum today. Host George Stephanopoulos asked about how Rob handles so much media attention, and the actor replied, "I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life . . . That's the reason you go on TV — to promote movies. That's the only way to do it." Later, Rob said, "Yeah," when asked if he's doing alright, and was treated to a bowl of early-morning cereal.
Kristen Stewart joins her On the Road costars Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley for a photo spread inside US Marie Claire's September issue. Miley Cyrus posed for the cover, while Kristen and the boys teamed up for a few key promotional shots. The images were taken in May during the Cannes Film Festival, where Kristen was promoting her Jack Kerouac adaption and boyfriend Robert Pattinson was celebrating the Cosmopolis world premiere, which she also attended. Since then, things have taken a dramatic turn for the couple. Last month photos of Kristen cheating with Rupert Sanders shocked fans, and she's remained in hiding ever since. As for Robert, he temporarily moved out of their shared residence and relocated to Reese Witherspoon's Ojai estate; he'll make his first public appearances since news of the scandal when he visits The Daily Show With Jon Stewart on Monday and Good Morning America on Wednesday.
Robert Pattinson will be giving a live TV interview to Good Morning America next Wednesday, Aug. 15. The sit-down Q&A is to promote his movie Cosmopolis, but many are wondering if he’ll break his silence on his relationship with Kristen Stewart. It was nearly two weeks ago that paparazzi photos were released showing Kristen and her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders in a secret PDA meet-up just weeks before. Since then, Robert and Kristen have moved out of the LA home they shared, and Robert has been staying at the Ojai ranch belonging to his friend and Water For Elephants co-star, Reese Witherspoon. There’s no word yet on who will be interviewing Robert, but the morning program certainly scored a coup with this one.

Update: It was initially announced that Enrique Iglesias would be touring with Britney, but it seems he may not join Britney after all! There are reports he's already off the tour, and the high costs of moving his and Britney's elaborate productions around the country may explain why it won't work out.
It was Britney Spears day on Good Morning America with her much-anticipated San Francisco performance finally airing!
