Gotye’s popularity has skyrocketed in the US, and now he’s joining the ranks of musicians like Madonna, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson — OK, pretty much every huge music artist — by having his song performed on Glee. Gotye’s (real name Wally De Backer) chart-topping, award-winning hit “Somebody That I Used to Know” will be sung in an upcoming episode by Blaine (Darren Criss) and his elder brother Cooper (guest star Matt Bomer of White Collar fame), a movie star who drops by McKinley to dish out some acting advice. The episode, which will also give more background on Blaine and his family, will air on Network Ten soon. The video only has a preview of their duet — what do you think of Darren and Matt’s rendition?
