On February 23rd, Aussie actor Heath Ledger became the second posthumous winner of an acting Oscar, when he took out the gold statue for his supporting role in The Dark Knight. The honour came just one year after his tragic and untimely death of an accidental prescription drug overdose. There wasn't a dry eye in the room, when Heath's dad, mum and younger sister, Kate, accepted the award on his behalf. During the acceptance speech, Kate revealed that she had spoken to her brother about the possibility of award attention for his role as the Joker: "Heath, we both knew what you had created in the Joker was extraordinarily special and had even talked about being here on this very day. We really wish you were, but we proudly accept this award on behalf of your beautiful Matilda. Thank you.'' Excuse me. I think I have something in my eye.
