Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Charlotte Dawson, Kumar Pereira at Horrible Bosses Sydney Premiere

After promoting Horrible Bosses in Melbourne on Sunday, stars Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman flew up to Sydney to attend another premiere of their comedy at Event Cinemas on George Street last night. With two Jason’s on the set we asked Jason Sudeikis if they had funny nicknames for each other, but he said, “We just went with surnames. Bateman and Sudeikis. Nothing too good unfortunately!” He said that “there’s a fair amount” of improv in the film but more that ended up on the cutting room floor. As for who he thinks is the most horrible boss out of the film’s three antagonists, he told us, “I think [Kevin] Spacey. He’d be a hard one to work for. At least I get to party with Colin Farrell.” Charlie also shared his excitement on becoming a first-time father (his wife Mary Elizabeth Ellis is pregnant), telling us, “I’m gonna loosen up my throwing arm and make a great little baseball player! I’m super excited, I can’t wait.” Aussie stars who enjoyed the film include Charlotte Dawson, Jesinta Campbell, Samara Weaving and MasterChef’s Kumar Pereira.
