Jennifer Lopez wore a white KaufmanFranco dress on the red carpet at the Las Vegas premiere of her movie Parker last night. She and co-star Jason Statham brought their thriller to Planet Hollywood in Sin City following a Thursday screening in NYC. J Lo had lots of support from her guys last night, since her boyfriend, Casper Smart, posed for photos by her side. He also accompanied her and Jason to the after-party inside the casino. Despite some initial critics of Parker not loving what they saw, the New York Times reviewed it as a reasonably good thriller. Reviewer A.O. Scott wrote that the film is "great fun" and that director Taylor Hackford "knows how to pull off a caper without making a big deal about it."
Jennifer Lopez was joined by her co-star Jason Statham at a screening of their new movie Parker in NYC yesterday. The pair posed together on the red carpet, with J Lo in a white Lanvin dress. Other stars at the event included Nicky Hilton, 50 Cent, and Jennifer and Jason's co-star Patti Lupone.
Jennifer has been busy promoting her movie in NYC, hitting up The Daily Show and Good Morning America earlier this week. She also recently opened up about her relationship with Casper Smart in a Spanish interview on Univision's El Gordo y la Flaca, where she revealed that she was hurt when the press insinuated that she was paying for her boyfriend. She said, "I'm not perfect. I go through difficult times as others but always try to be human and a good person . . . When you say things like that, that I'd 'pay for a boyfriend,' it hurts me — it hurts me to the heart."
It’s SO on! There have been rumours circulating that Halle Berry was hooking up with Kylie Minogue’s ex Olivier Martinez and now we have proof! The two have been filming Dark Tide together and People magazine has a pic of the two kissing in Olivier’s hometown of Paris. Olivier and Kylie were together for four years and broke up shortly after she beat breast cancer. He was dating Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley earlier this year, but she’s now moved onto Jason Statham, Sophie Monk’s ex. Hands up, who needs a flow chart to keep track of this? Anyhoo, I have to say I’m still team Gabriel after seeing this video. What do you think of Halle and Olivier — do you rate it or hate them? Sound off below!
After all the celebrities walked the red carpet at the GQ UK Men of the Year Awards last night, they headed inside for the ceremony. Plenty of couples were celebrating too. International Male Jon Hamm sat with his girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, while James Corden got a kiss from his girlfriend as he won the Comedian prize. Daisy Lowe chatted with her ex Mark Ronson and also posed proudly with her new man Matt Smith, who was named Actor of the Year. While, Most Stylish Man Aaron Johnson had Sam Taylor-Wood by his side at the ceremony.
The stars came out last night to celebrate GQ's Men of the Year at the Royal Opera House in London. Gemma Arterton was on the red carpet again, after premiering Tamara Drewe on Monday. She was named Woman on the Year, taking the crown from Lily Allen who won the award last year. Lily brought her growing baby bump, and Alexa Chung and Hayley Atwell were also amongst the other women there to congratulate the men on their success.
Mad Men's Jon Hamm was named International Male, while Ben Affleck was in Venice promoting their movie The Town. Mark Ronson and his bleached hair attended too, and Ed Westwick won the Breakthrough Talent Award. See the full list of winners after the jump!
Dolph Lundgren, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham suited up for the UK premiere of The Expendables in Leicester Square last night. Their co-stars Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis skipped out on London promo duties, having attended the LA premiere last week. Katie Price wore a sheer black dress, while Lisa Snowdon (an ex of George Clooney) went for a LBD and covered up with a leather jacket.
Jude Law may be charming audiences right now with Sherlock Holmes — he's even back in Sienna Miller's good graces — but he's about to take a very dark and sinister turn in the thriller Repo Men. The futuristic film tells the story of mechanical organs and a man named Remy (Law) who repossesses them by slicing them out when their owners can't pay up.
That's right, I said he slices them out. It seems like an interesting sci-fi concept, but I don't know that I necessarily want to watch such a gore-filled story — on a giant-sized screen, no less. Plus I can't help staring at Jude's hair. He has a peninsula shaped hair-growth pattern on his head. Very distracting. And they really want us to believe that pretty boy Jude is sent around to rough people up when they can't pay their bills? Jason Statham I would buy, but Jude...not so much. But the good news is the film has Forest Whitaker and Liev Schreiber in the cast. If you don't mind the sight of blood or Jude's hair, see if you can make it through the whole preview (warning: it's definitely NSFW).
