After an exciting few days in France for the Cannes Film Festival, Isla Fisher was back in NYC today for the premiere of her new movie Now You See Me (out Aug. 29). She was joined by some of the esteemed actors in the mostly-male cast, including Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Mark Ruffalo, who brought along his wife, Sunrise Coigney, and their three young children. In the film, Isla, Jesse, Woody and Dave Franco are a magic group act who steal money from corrupt business leaders and return it to their audiences during their acts. Meanwhile the FBI is trying to catch them and work out how they’ve been pulling off their daring heists.

Isla’s appearance in NYC today means she’ll be absent from tonight’s Sydney premiere of The Great Gatsby, which will still have a huge star presence thanks to Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Elizabeth Debicki, and filmmakers Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin, along with a host of local talent.

Penelope Cruz continued a busy day of press for To Rome With Love at the movie's Italian premiere last night. She began the morning at a photo call for the Woody Allen picture along with her co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, and Roberto Benigni. For the morning event, Penelope donned a black Dolce & Gabanna dress. She showed some brand loyalty by attending the screening in a gold gown from the Italian design duo. Her hair, set in a braided bun, set off her glowing complexion, smokey eye makeup and nude lip. Woody's latest project is another star-studded European affair — check out the To Rome With Love trailer! In addition to Penelope, Alec, Roberto, and Jesse, the film also features Ellen Page, Greta Gerwig, and Judy Davis. It's out in Italy next week, but doesn't hit theaters in the US until June after a debut at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Its Australian release has not yet been announced.

Yesterday Jim Carrey released an interesting video in which he professes his love for Emma Stone. The jury is still out on whether he’s being serious or not, but he’s not alone when it comes to being a member of the Emma Stone Fan Club. The actress, who’s having a huge year with The Help, Crazy, Stupid, Love and a cameo in Friends With Benefits, has won the praise of many Hollywood stars, and our girl crush on her is set to escalate with next year’s release of The Amazing Spider-Man. Most of Young Hollywood flocked to LA for the Teen Choice Awards earlier this week, celebrating the pop culture picks of the youthful with vampires (hello, Robert Pattinson!), Harry Potter stars and surfboards. But there were lots of other events that kept other A-listers busy. The stars of Glee were out in force last week for the premiere of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, which brings their latest tour to the big screen (and remember it’s only in cinemas for two weeks!). Olivia Wilde was joined by her Cowboys and Aliens co-stars Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig for promotional stops in Europe, while Jesse Eisenberg celebrated the premiere of 30 Minutes or Less with Ben Stiller.
