Jessica McNamee quits Packed to the Rafters to go back to uni

Packed to the Rafters star Jessica McNamee is quitting the show that made her a star to go back to uni. The 24-year-old has resigned from her role as Sammy Rafter and her final episode goes to air next month. Jessica will return to school to finish a deferred arts degree, but has also expressed a desire to try more diverse roles and to work overseas. Looks like Sammy and Nathan aren’t going to reconcile after all. Jess stars in the upcoming Aussie horror flick The Loved Ones with Twilight star Xavier Samuel and was also a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
