Taylor Swift stunned in a white Emilio Pucci dress to step out for the Fragrance Foundation Awards in NYC yesterday. She was joined by Connie Britton, Jessica Szohr and Australian model twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark, who all took the stage for the evening's festivities. Taylor had a lot to celebrate since her scent Wonderstruck Enchanted picked up the honour for celebrity fragrance of the year. Taylor's olfactory success won't stop with yesterday's award, since she recently debuted her newest scent, Taylor, earlier this month.
While Taylor was busy getting recognised in the fragrance world, she made headlines for taking home a trophy at another award show. In Kanye West's controversial interview with The New York Times, which was published on Tuesday, he may have directed a quote or two towards Taylor in relation to his interrupting her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. When asked about his concept of regret, Kanye revealed, "If anyone's reading this waiting for some type of full-on, flat apology for anything, they should just stop reading right now."
Rachel Bilson (top left) attended the Chanel Dinner for NRDC wearing a bohemian braid look that was purposefully loose with a mussed-up texture. Her hair was full of volume on the top, where Rachel's layers framed the face, then the ends were braided in the back.
Jessica Szohr (top right) was spotted at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation's A Time For Heroes event wearing her bangs braided out of her face. The miniature french braid started at the part and was pinned back above the ear.
Also at the Chanel Dinner for NRDC, Bella Heathcote (bottom right) wore a more formal braided look. Her hair was slicked back into three sections and twisted together. At the nape, all the hair converged in a complicated chignon. At the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation's A Time For Heroes, Tamera Mowry (bottom left) wore her hair in a classic milkmaid style. The crown of braids was separated from her bangs, which were split down the middle.
It's the warm season over in the US right now, so all our favourite stars are busy putting their best Summer beauty looks forward. Rachel Bilson left her face clean, clear and bronzed, letting her chocolate-drop, kohl-lined eyes do all the talking, while Blake Lively's look was equally relaxed, this time in the hair department. Selena Gomez rocked a matte red lip and perfect beach waves, while one star's polished top knot has us yearning for an appropriate event to try it out at. But the winner? It's gotta be Rose Byrne. The hair, the skin, the eyes. . . This Aussie lady's got it all, and we couldn't love it more. Click through to see it all!
Jessica Szohr played up her eyes with a subtle smoky eye. Her makeup artist Mai Quynh started by applying Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Shadow ($44) in Caviar (an inky hue) all over lids up to the crease. "I like to start with the eye makeup because I can clean up any fallen shadow on her bare skin," Quynh said. Then, she used a mix of the black and brown shades from the Femme Fatale Dolce & Gabbana Eye Shadow Quad in Jessica's crease. A touch of the black shade was also used underneath the eyes.
Finally, Quynh lined the entire eye with Becca Automatic Eye Pencil ($42) and swiped on two coats of Diorshow Black Out Mascara ($52). This smoky eye is a look that won't overwhelm the beginner, and it's subtle enough to wear to an afternoon party. Make sure to balance the look with a soft lip like Jessica's Nars Satin Lipstick ($39) in Tolède.Rose Byrne went with a lighter look that still had a touch of edge. "Rose's dress was so sophisticated yet sweet, so I wanted the makeup to be a little bit on the tougher side," said her makeup artist Monika Blunder. "My inspiration was Kate Moss — a rimmed black eye to create a smudgy, smoldering look." Her eyes were shaded with Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Premier Regard ($98).
Blunder applied the bronze shade to the lid first, then used the shimmering black hue on the outer corners and crease. She defined the eyes with liner, and three coats of mascara completed the eye makeup. Blunder complemented the dramatic eyes with peachy cheeks using a Chanel Powder Blush called In Love ($86). The last touch was a nude lipstick, Rouge Allure Lip Colour in Gracile ($50).

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson cracked each other up on the red carpet for the premiere of their film The Internship last night in LA. The duo arrived in style, pulling up to the carpet in a Google Maps car, which was an appropriate mode of transportation since the comedy follows the pair as they take on a prestigious internship at Google. Vince and Owen are reuniting again on screen after the success of their collaboration on 2005's Wedding Crashers.
The film's leading lady, Rose Byrne, who donned a stunning pink Emilio Pucci number and worked tough-but-subtle makeup, linked up with Owen for a laugh on the red carpet as well. The trio were also joined by castmates Jessica Szohr, in a Haute Hippie dress, and Josh Gad for the West Coast debut of the comedy, which hits cinemas on June 13.
There's something about a big, genuine, happy smile that makes anyone look their absolute best. Of course, Diane Kruger's immaculate makeup and hair didn't hurt the cause, but this week we were blown away by how happy she seems — and how fantastic she looks for it! We love what she's done with her hair, pulling it back sleekly enough that it shares the limelight with those incredible earrings. Emilia Clarke was another star to tuck her hair behind her ears, which framed her face (and impressive eye makeup!) beautifully. Megan Gale opted for a fresh topknot, Barbara Palvin worked one of the sexiest cat-eye flicks we've seen, and Alexa Chung got along with a matte pink lip like a house on fire. See all this prettiness right here, right now.
