Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner showed love on Sunday afternoon at the John Varvatos 10th annual Stuart House Benefit. Ben and Jen were the day's co-chairs, and they arrived together, posing for pictures separately and side by side, before heading into the event and taking the stage to help raise funds for Stuart House, a rape treatment centre. Ben welcomed the time with his wife, telling reporters that he's been relaxing with his family since winning best picture for Argo. He said, "I've been able to really just enjoy my good fortune in the last couple of weeks and sit back and kind of just take it in and not do anything, just eat ice cream on the couch. It's been a really nice time to hang out with my wife and that sort of thing, so we're just enjoying it."

They were among the many celebrity couples who turned out for the bash. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber looked right at home in the California sunshine, as did Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. Joe Manganiello made the rounds with girlfriend Bridget Peters, though Nina Dobrev was without her boyfriend and Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder.

Stars Spend a Big Pre-Globes Night Celebrating The Art of Elysium

The Art of Elysium organisation hosted their annual Heaven gala Saturday evening in downtown LA.

The Art of Elysium organisation hosted their annual Heaven gala Saturday evening in downtown LA. They closed down a traffic tunnel in the city to play host to many of their famous supporters, including honouree David Arquette and many other longtime supporters like Elijah Wood, Busy Philipps and John Legend. There were plenty of couples who celebrated together the night before the Golden Globes — Ali Larter arrived with husband Hayes MacArthur, John Legend walked with fiancée Chrissy Teigen, Krysten Ritter posed with Brian Geraghty, and Revenge's Ashley Madekwe brought husband Iddo Goldberg. Joe Manganiello, however, was solo posing for photographers.

There was a fashion parade on the grey carpet, too. Kirsten Dunst wore Louis Vuitton and said hello to friends like Jaime King. Rachel Bilson picked a long-sleeved Valentino, and Stacy Keibler donned Carolina Herrera. Another woman who picked a sleeved gown was Julianne Hough, who wore Jenny Packham and spoke about her plans to hit the red carpet at the Globes today. Her boyfriend Ryan Seacrest will be there as a host, but Julianne revealed she usually preps for awards shows with a group of girlfriends and the Ellie Goulding Pandora station on! Busy wore a sparkly LBD and opened up about the new season of Cougar Town, as well as her upcoming big 2013 that'll include the birth of her second child. Busy told us she's obviously excited to be a mum again, but is almost equally excited about Kim and Kanye's baby!

Magic Mike: Less Talking, More Stripping

I wish I could say that I wanted to see Magic Mike because I was hoping the Steven Soderbergh film would show me the serious side of male stripping, that I wanted the venerable director of films like Erin Brockovich and Traffic to show me how very challenging it is to make exotic dancing a career.

I wish I could say that I wanted to see Magic Mike because I was hoping the Steven Soderbergh film would show me the serious side of male stripping, that I wanted the venerable director of films like Erin Brockovich and Traffic to show me how very challenging it is to make exotic dancing a career. But who are we kidding? I wanted to see Magic Mike for its simple hook: a cast of very good-looking men in minimal clothing. Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey play Tampa's hottest strippers, and they take it all off while exposing us to their lifestyle and integrating a new dancer, played by Alex Pettyfer. The movie is a lot of scandalous fun — but only when the guys are on stage.

We're introduced to the world of male stripping through Mike (Tatum), and though "Magic Mike" (as he's known on stage) is a star at the club Xquisite, he has bigger aspirations than shaking his moneymaker. He wants to start a furniture business, and he has a heart under all those muscles, which we see via two new relationships: a friendship with Adam (Pettyfer) and a flirtation with Adam's sister, Brooke (Cody Horn). Adam loves Xquisite's spotlight a bit too much, and he soon develops a few bad habits, but Soderbergh's attempt to show us the seedy side of the dancing life is undeveloped and uneven. The dark undertones of the plot feel out of place and, worse, boring, especially compared to the movie's jaw-dropping stripping scenes. To find out what else I thought, just keep reading.

The cast of Magic Mike — perhaps better known as that movie about male strippers — is an impressive bunch. Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Matthew Bomer join Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer as an all-male revue. Though Tatum is the only one who's opened up about having a stripping past, we already know the rest of the guys are up for the challenge of taking it all off. Don't believe us? The Hot Men of Magic Mike Suit Up For the LA Premiere

The hot stars of Magic Mike may spend a lot of time in various states of undress in their roles as strippers in the film (out July 26), but for today's LA premiere they suited up and stayed clothed.

The hot stars of Magic Mike may spend a lot of time in various states of undress in their roles as strippers in the film (out July 26), but for today's LA premiere they suited up and stayed clothed. Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer and Joe Manganiello hit the mostly-male red carpet with some of their significant others (Channing and Matthew’s respective wives Jenna Dewan and Camila Alves) and female co-stars (Cody Horn and Olivia Munn). Over the weekend they sat down for press junkets with media in LA, where one of the funny topics was the tiny amount of clothing they had to wear for certain scenes. Matthew said, “It’s a huge leap of faith to trust a thong. It’s your only protection up on stage. When I first tried it on, my body contorted. And I tried to get myself into every position to see what angles I was covered.” He also added that in one particular scene he lost his G-string due to over-enthusiastic female extras.

The stars of Magic Mike will show the world their strippin' moves when the film hits cinemas in July, and a handful of the guys are giving us a sneak peek on this week's cover of Entertainment Weekly. Leading man Channing Tatum is joined by co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer for a hot photo shoot, and of course, an interview. Once you're done ogling the eye candy, here are a few highlights from the interview:

  • Tatum on the vibe on set: "Actors, generally, if we finish our scenes early one day, we go home. It wasn't like that on this set. Especially during the dances — we were there cheering everybody on."
  • Tatum on McConaughey getting his thong ripped off by rowdy fans: "It was a collection of women being like, 'I have to tip him,' and then the weight of all the dollar bills in their hands just took [his thong] off."
  • Manganiello on how True Blood prepped him: "When I came in for a meeting with the casting director, she hadn't seen True Blood. So she said, 'Are you going to be comfortable with partial nudity?' And I go, 'Have you seen my show? I'm the poster child for that.'"

Adriana Lima Bares Her Bump at a Bash With Chris and Birthday Boy Channing

Pregnant Adriana Lima's baby bump was on display Wednesday night at an event in NYC with the jewellery brand IWC Schaffhausen.

Pregnant Adriana Lima's baby bump was on display Wednesday night at an event in NYC with the jewellery brand IWC Schaffhausen. Adriana, as well as hotties Joe Manganiello, Channing Tatum (who celebrated his 32nd birthday yesterday) and Chris Hemsworth, were on hand for a ribbon-cutting at the company's new Big Apple flagship boutique.

Adriana's one of the brand's celebrity ambassadors and was in Geneva during January for the SIHH High Jewellery Fair with Cate Blanchett and Ewan McGregor. Adriana and Chris likely had plenty to talk about, as he's also expecting a baby! Chris' wife Elsa Pataky is pregnant with their first child. Adriana, though, is already a mum to 2-and-a-half-year-old Valentina with her basketball player husband Marko Jaric. She's among the many Victoria's Secret models who are pregnant at the moment, including Alessandra Ambrosio and Lily Aldridge.
