Emma Stone Joins Ryan Gosling and His Mum For Gangster Squad's Debut

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone joined forces yesterday for LA's premiere of their film Gangster Squad (out Jan.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone joined forces yesterday for LA's premiere of their film Gangster Squad (out Jan. 10). It's the second time the co-stars — who also appeared in 2011's Crazy, Stupid, Love together — have played love interests on the big screen. When we asked Emma what she has in mind for her third film with Ryan, she joked, "Why? Do you have a script?"

Emma walked the red carpet solo in a red look and dramatic necklace from Lanvin, but Ryan had a special woman by his side for the debut: his mother, Donna. Ryan has been dating his The Place Beyond the Pines co-star Eva Mendes since shooting the film together last year. We also caught a glimpse of Sean Penn, who plays real-life gangster Mickey Cohen in the film, making a low-key arrival at the premiere. Emma and her co-stars may have had a late night on the town celebrating their new project, but she has an early morning ahead of her later this week. Emma will join forces with Oscar host Seth MacFarlane to announce the 2013 Academy Award nominees bright and early on Thursday (Friday 12:30 a.m. Australian time).

See Ryan Gosling Looking Hot and More Gangster Squad Pictures

Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Sean Penn and more star in next month's Gangster Squad (out Jan.

Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Sean Penn and more star in next month's Gangster Squad (out Jan. 10), and while we're excited that we finally get to see the drama about the LAPD and the mafia battling it out in 1950s LA, the real draw of this new batch of pictures is Ryan Gosling. Sneak a peek at the film and the sexy actor in period clothing (I'm certain that high-waisted pants have never looked so hot), along with the rest of the great-looking cast.

See Ryan Gosling and More in the Throwback Posters For Gangster Squad

It doesn't take much to get me excited about a Ryan Gosling movie, but a sexy poster certainly doesn't hurt.

It doesn't take much to get me excited about a Ryan Gosling movie, but a sexy poster certainly doesn't hurt. Gosling and the rest of the cast of Gangster Squad are front and centre in these cool new retro posters. There's Gosling as Jerry Wooters, Sean Penn as mob boss Mickey Cohen, Emma Stone as Grace Faraday, and more players from the corrupt LA streets. I love how stylised these are; they remind me of covers of old mystery novels. The movie doesn't hit cinemas until Jan. 10, but check out all the posters now.

Will Smith Brings MIB 3 to NYC With Help From His Co-Stars and Family

Will Smith and his Men in Black 3 co-stars brought their blockbuster to NYC on Wednesday night after a string of European premieres.

Will Smith and his Men in Black 3 co-stars brought their blockbuster to NYC on Wednesday night after a string of European premieres. Will looked dapper in a checkered Gucci suit accompanied by wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who recently returned from the Cannes Film Festival, where she promoted Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. Will and Jada's kids Willow and Jaden were also on hand for the premiere, as were MIB 3 newcomers Josh Brolin, Alice Eve and Michael Stuhlbarg, and franchise vet Tommy Lee Jones. The One Direction boys were also in attendance, and they gave an update on their relationship statuses: Harry Styles is single but Zayn Malik is taken.

Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn Play Cops and Robbers in the Gangster Squad Trailer

Have you always thought that Ryan Gosling would look dapper in a 1940s suit?

Have you always thought that Ryan Gosling would look dapper in a 1940s suit? Well, you've come to the right place. In the trailer for Gangster Squad, Gosling and James Brolin play LAPD cops who are trying to take down a notorious gangster played by Sean Penn. As expected, the lines between good and bad are a little blurred as we see that the cops aren't necessarily sticking to a strict moral code.

It's fun to see Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling back on the big screen together again — her character appears to be with Penn but definitely shacks up with her Crazy, Stupid, Love co-star. I'm already loving how stylish the film looks, right down to the cast's spot-on gangster accents. The film doesn't hit cinemas until October, but check out the trailer when you keep reading.

See All the Hollywood Stars Partying Inside Vanity Fair's Bash!

Vanity Fair pulled off another star-studded Oscars party last night.

Vanity Fair pulled off another star-studded Oscars party last night. Some stars, like Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Emma Stone, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, arrived earlier to eat dinner and watch the show on TV, while others turned up after attending the big event hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco in person. Reese Witherspoon was solo on the red carpet before the show, but once at the bash she met up with her fiancé, Jim Toth. Cameron Diaz and one of the evening's performers, Gwyneth Paltrow, made it a ladies night as they caught up in a corner, but young lovers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez hardly left each other's sides. Natalie Portman and Colin Firth, the best actor and actress winners, walked inside with the best accessory possible, their Academy Awards. She stuck close by her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied, following her stint in the press room talking about their baby, while Colin was finally able to get in some dancing with his wife. Plenty of other Hollywood couples were able to sneak in PDA, as Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel cuddled up on a couch. Madonna chose to make things a family affair, showing skin in a lacy black dress alongside her daughter Lourdes. For others, it was about catching up with old friends. Jake Gyllenhaal had a nice chat with 50 Cent, and newly single stars Jude Law and Scarlett Johansson shared a moment documented in pictures. Michelle Williams, who was nominated for the best actress honour that ultimately went to Natalie, spent the whole evening with her friend and date Busy Philipps. Selena momentarily left Justin Bieber to catch up with her friend Taylor Swift, who managed to not be photographed anywhere near her ex Jake. He also had another former love, Reese, to avoid as well. Ryan Gosling brought a special lady, his mum, Donna, as his date to the second annual Governors Awards in LA on Saturday night.

Ryan Gosling brought a special lady, his mum, Donna, as his date to the second annual Governors Awards in LA on Saturday night. The birthday boy celebrated his 30th at Disneyland on Friday, and while he's had plenty of memorable onstage moments in the past, the evening was all about the honorees like Francis Ford Coppola and Eli Wallach. Sofia Coppola came out to support her dad alongside Natalie Portman, Hilary Swank and Elle Fanning. The ladies were joined by guests Stephen Dorff, Justin Long and Josh Brolin, who stuck by his red-hot wife, Diane Lane.
