Celebrities got into the US Memorial Day spirit when they stopped by producer Joel Silver's annual Memorial Day Malibu beach party yesterday. Guests included Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, Gwen Stefani and her family, Sean Penn, Kate Beckinsale and Tobey Maguire, who was back in family mode after wrapping up a whirlwind world press tour for The Great Gatsby. The group partied at Joel's Malibu home, which included a giant inflatable slide that was set up right on the beach to keep the kids entertained. Joel's annual party has become a major event for Hollywood's biggest celebrities — past guests have included Selena Gomez, Courteney Cox and Tom Cruise.

Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana and more starlets hit the Chateau Marmont in LA last night for a special dinner party held in honour of designer Prabal Gurung. Along with US Vogue magazine and MAC Cosmetics, Prabal invited a group of famous friends to celebrate his designs. Diane Kruger bared her stomach alongside boyfriend Joshua Jackson, while Ginnifer Goodwin had her boyfriend, Josh Dallas, and their Once Upon a Time co-star Jennifer Morrison for company. Prabal circulated around the event with the "wonderful as ever" Hailee Steinfeld and Star Trek Into Darkness co-stars Alice Eve and Zachary Quinto. Zoe Saldana made a stylist appearance alongside Amber Valletta and Jaime King. Rachel Zoe, meanwhile, brought husband Rodger Berman and later tweeted that they had "such a special evening!"

Saturday's H&M Loves Music pool party was held at the expansive Merv Griffin Estate just outside of Palm Springs. The bash was the first such event the global fashion brand has thrown in conjunction with Coachella. The festivities featured paddleboat rides and ping-pong tables, carnival snacks including popcorn, fairy floss and churros, and a live poolside performance by Santigold. Santigold hit the stage late in the afternoon and played some of her biggest hits, including "L.E.S. Artistes," for the crowd. During the soiree, we caught up with Sophia Bush, who was lounging under an umbrella with a group, and spotted Darren Criss taking a turn on the paddleboats. Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson also arrived with friend and designer Jason Wu and relaxed by the pool.

Later on, Diane and Joshua transitioned to the Coachella festival itself, where they shared a few kisses in the VIP sections as bands played. Several famous couples have been making the rounds at the festival this year. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were at Coachella on Friday night, Michael Polish and Kate Bosworth spent Friday afternoon checking out bands including Beach House, and even Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie made their way out to the desert to take in the first of two Coachella weekends.

Music fans in California are halfway through day two of Coachella, the annual music festival that draws crowds of up to 95,000 people each year. This year, the lineup includes acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Lumineers, Tame Impala, The XX and many more, and plenty of celebrities have stepped out to enjoy the sun and sounds. Most notably? The abundance of celebrity couples, loved-up and showing it as they strolled the grassy grounds. The Tribeca Grand Hotel played host (pardon the pun) to the NYC screening of The Host today. The stars, Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel and Diane Kruger, were out in force to promote the new sci-fi flick, which is based on the book of the same name by Stephenie Meyer, who posed with the cast. Diane wore a very sexy and revealing dress to the film’s LA premiere and chose a more conservative outfit for today’s event; she once again had the support of boyfriend Joshua Jackson at the screening. Other guests included high profile fashion personalities, such as designers Jason Wu and Olivier Theyskens, and Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl. The Host is out now.

Joshua Jackson showed support for Diane Kruger when he attended the premiere of her new film, The Host, in LA yesterday. Diane wore a sheer black dress by Thakoon and Jimmy Choo shoes and modelled runway-inspired hair as she posed on the red carpet with Joshua and later met up with co-stars Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons. The movie, which hits cinemas on March 28, is based on the novel of the same name by Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer. Diane has been doing quite a bit of press for her new flick, including covering the latest issue of Flare magazine and attending a Host book signing last weekend. She showed midriff in a Carven top at the literary event after going casual in pink pants for errands. Diane's style has garnered plenty of fans, including Brad Goreski, who recently confessed that she's his "style crush."

Diane Kruger donned Valentino Couture and an ace top-knot to join her boyfriend, Joshua Jackson, at the Toronto International Film Festival debut of Inescapable on Tuesday night. The picture, a thriller about a father searching for his daughter, in which Josh stars, didn't meet great reception from critics — check out one scathing review of Inescapable. Nonetheless, the premiere brought Josh back to his native Canada along with German-born Diane. In fact, Josh has been spending a great deal of time in his motherland shooting Fringe in Vancouver. Diane's been keeping company with Josh north of the border, but has also ventured to their homes in LA and Paris over the last month to focus on some of her own work.
