Today's White House Correspondents' Dinner gathered celebrities from New York and LA to Washington, DC. There were plenty of ladies decked out in the red carpet finest, including Katy Perry in Giambattista Valli, Kerry Washington in Wes Gordon, Kate Mara in white Prada and more. Amy Poehler also went for white, choosing a dress from Basler. Nashville's Connie Britton wore a bright blue Temperley London number, while her co-star Hayden Panettiere picked a yellow Katharine Kidd gown. Colour was a popular choice, as Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus picked purple. Claire Danes went with baby blue to hit the dinner with her husband Hugh Dancy.
Warm weather may be on its way out, but the pretty pastels of the season are still in the makeup palettes of famous faces. Kate Mara was spotted sporting a gorgeous pastel peach, while Eva Amurri Martino donned a glossy pink shade. Hayden Panettiere also got in on the trend with a swipe of cotton-candy colour across her lips. 'Tis the colour du jour, but who sported the trend best?
For last night's Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture Vanities Calendar party in West Hollywood, the styles proved fun and flirty, and they certainly favoured leg-baring numbers. Olivia Munn, who also shared hostessing duties, stepped out in a navy-and-white tuxedo-inspired minidress by Bird, and paired the look with a Juicy Couture clutch and peep-toe pumps. Meanwhile, bold prints took center stage thanks to Jaime King's Alexander McQueen dress and Brooklyn Decker's matching top and skirt set from Preen's Spring '13 collection. Eva Longoria opted not to walk the red carpet — and worked a casual outfit inside — while Kate Mara, Ellie Kemper, and Minka Kelly turned out even more cool cocktail ensembles. See it all inside.

The stars in this Top 10 best-dressed list had a certain spring in their step this week — or at least, in their clothing! We saw lots of pretty pastel pieces in romantic florals (take a bow, Rose Byrne), a couple of style-setters wearing crisp all-white, a seriously cool pair of printed black-and-white pants, and so much more. Lara Bingle was a breath of fresh air in her coral Christopher Kane dress and black pumps — we love how she kept things simple and let the dress do all the necessary talking.
