Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise enjoyed a day of mother-daughter bonding in NYC yesterday. Katie, joined by friends and their kids, took Suri to Alice’s Tea Cup, a cute Alice in Wonderland-themed restaurant, where she was spotted eating French fries. Camera-shy Suri, who was treated to ice cream by her mother a few days ago, reportedly dressed up with fairy wings in the restaurant as well. Before their kid-friendly meal they went to the Children’s Museum of the Arts.

It’s the second time Suri has been seen out and about since Katie dropped the news on the weekend that she’s divorcing Tom Cruise. Katie is also on the August cover of US Elle magazine, and some of her quotes hint that the divorce may have been on her mind when she did the interview a few weeks ago.

i think she's right Tom Cruise maybe too far away from realitiy but i am with her the best thing fo their child grow up like other children katie holmes still can do some things right GOD knows maybe she can save her marriage goduck them..

I think Katie is doing the right thing by keeping her daughter occupied. Divorce is a big thing in life of a child this means two parents having to go separate ways. Most children will think its their fault that the two parents are separatin - so Katie just act as normal as you can be - you are only 33 and life goes on.
