Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes were joined by their co-star Bradley Cooper when they screened their new film, The Place Beyond the Pines, in NYC on Friday. Ryan wore a green velvet Gucci suit while his girlfriend, Eva, donned an orange Prada frock. Bradley made the trip to the Big Apple from Boston, where he is currently filming a still-untitled David O. Russell film alongside Amy Adams and his Silver Linings Playbook co-star Jennifer Lawrence. He was spotted earlier this month wearing pink curlers on set, but at the premiere he showed no signs of a wavier 'do, instead opting to slick his long hair back off his face.

Katie Holmes has inked yet another beauty deal, this time with US hair brand Alterna. Last year, she began a partnership with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. However, her new role will not only include being the face of the brand in advertising campaigns, but also as co-owner, she'll have a voice in product development. "I love that Alterna uses natural and organic ingredients and stays away from harsh chemicals like sulfates and parabens," Katie told WWD. "It's good for my hair and good for the earth, so I feel good using it." In the future, Katie's new role might merge with her fashion endeavor Holmes & Yang. Alterna representatives teased the possibility of a limited-edition accessories project.
Katie isn't the first actress to break into the business side of beauty. Jennifer Aniston recently gained a stake in Living Proof. It seems brands are no longer on the hunt for just a gorgeous face; now being a spokesmodel requires business savvy. "Katie is a fashionista, a mother and an entrepreneur. In short, she is our consumer," said Joan Malloy, president of Alterna. "Like her, this is a brand that has been very much around, but hiding in plain sight."
Well here it is, the first, exclusive look at Katie Holmes for Bobbi Brown. The Broadway actress signed on as the first celebrity face of the brand back in September, with Bobbi adding that that Katie "epitomises the modern 'Bobbi woman'". In the first of two images to be used in the campaign, Katie oozes sophistication with a modern-day smoky eye — a beauty look that showcases Bobbi Brown's soon-to-be-released (March) Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks, reports Huff Post Style. "I've always been a fan of her makeup, because it’s so easy to apply," Katie said in a statement. "Her colour palettes aren’t extreme, so when I first started wearing makeup it felt comfortable and I didn’t feel like I had too much on, which can happen."
