Katy Perry and Selena Gomez put on their party finest for last night's UNICEF Snowflake Ball at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC. The girls hit the blue carpet before heading inside for dinner and mingling. Katy wore a Naeem Khan caped ensemble, while Selena showed a bit of skin in Dolce & Gabbana. It was a colourful night for the female attendees — Kate Mara donned orange Jason Wu, Uma Thurman picked a dark blue Atelier Versace gown, and Girls star Allison Williams picked a mint green Naeem Khan ensemble. The night was about doing good, and quite a bit of charity took place. Selena tweeted, "So proud to be a part of UNICEF — we raised 2.5 million dollars tonight!"

Sarah Jessica Parker made an appearance in a metallic, striped body-con dress by L'Wren Scott and Manolo Blahnik pumps; Renée Zellweger donned a grey off-the-shoulder confection by Carolina Herrera paired with shimmery Christian Louboutin heels; and Viola Davis stunned in a chic black and white gown by Max Mara. Kelly Ripa also shined in a strapless printed ball-gown dress, while Harley Viera-Newton opted for a textural Sportmax LBD paired with whimsical metallic platform sandals. SJP chose a striped look by honouree L'Wren Scott and hung out with designer Prabal Gurung inside the party. It was her second bash of the week after also stepping out for the star-studded launch of Maison Martin Margiela for H&M on Tuesday.

She got dressed up in Chanel and Lanvin to hit the red carpet with Liv Tyler at the Brooklyn Artists Ball and later headed to the Broadway opening of The Normal Heart. SJP stuck with her fashionable look and was joined by her husband, Matthew Broderick, for the theatre event. She's back in the Big Apple following a recent getaway to Southern California, where Sarah Jessica Parker relaxed in her bikini and caught up on reading. She's been juggling her three kids and two movie projects and she also has her work with Halston Heritage to keep her busy. The brand is apparently undergoing some business changes, though it remains to be seen if SJP's role will be affected.

Jimmy Kimmel's post-Oscars special is becoming something of a tradition, and this year he rounded up lots of beautiful celebs for a skit about "Humpilates." (Yes, you read that correctly.) Kimmel amassed some of Hollywood's hottest and most fit stars, from Jessica Biel to Minka Kelly and beyond, to endorse a new exercise regimen that involves . . . well, you'll just have to watch. There's also a Lindsay Lohan cameo towards the end, and the actress pokes fun at her recent theft drama.

Personally I don't think it holds a candle to the brilliance of last year's Handsome Men's Club, but it's still worth watching.
