The Sex and the City Trivia Game (approx. $46) combines two of my favourite things: trivia and SATC. It's based on the TV show and feautures over 1000 trivia questions.

Carrie Diaries ($30.95) tells the story of Carrie Bradshaw when she was a regular high school senior. Learn all about her backstory before her fabulous life began in New York.

Sex and the City 2 Special Edition DVD ($24.82) Some people may have criticised the sequel, but if you’re SATC fan, you’ll still want it as part of your collection.

Sex and the City 2 Soundtrack ($22.95) This collection features our very own Ricki-Lee Coulter’s "Can’t Touch It", Alicia Keys singing "Empire State of Mind" and the cast doing their karaoke version of "I Am Woman".

Sex and the City 2: The Stories. The Fashion. The Adventure. ($59.95) This companion book gives you every detail on every piece of clothing worn in the film. And you also can find out about the interior of Carrie and Big’s apartment! Divine!

To celebrate the DVD release of Sex and the City 2 today, we have an exclusive clip from the bonus features, which includes commentary from Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis on getting into their fantastic '80s get-ups in the film's opening flashback. No matter how you feel about Roman Polanski, it's not really debatable whether he's a talented director. In his latest film, The Ghost Writer, sexy Ewan McGregor plays an author who's recruited into a lucrative deal to be the ghost writer for former Prime Minister Adam Lang, played by Pierce Brosnan. When it turns out that Lang's political record is anything but squeaky clean, McGregor finds a moral dilemma in transcribing the life of the powerful man.

Making matters worse is that McGregor also finds himself fearing for his life after he finds out the previous ghost writer died (suicide? murder?) while on the job. Ewan was at The Sydney Film Festival in June for the press premiere and said he was excited by the movie's political storyline. The trailer's extremely engaging, and the movie itself looks stylish and fast-paced (be sure to listen up for Kim Cattrall, who was actually born in England, sporting a British accent). To judge the trailer for yourself and let me know if you'll be seeing The Ghost Writer.

The famous foursome of Sex and the City 2 traded in their red carpet gowns for another set of dresses to attend the London premiere afterparty at Odeon. Sarah Jessica Parker also took a rest from supporting her dramatic Philip Treacy headpiece that had everyone talking. Her gorgeous blue frock for the post-screening bash provided a beautiful splash of colour to proceedings, while Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon all changed into something shorter—who is your best dressed this time? Chris Noth stuck to his dapper Mr. Big style throughout the soiree. Meanwhile, Emma Roberts stayed out late no doubt celebrating her own movie news—she's signed on to be the lead in Scream 4! Watching the SATC2 red carpet fashion has been a blast and we can't wait to see the fab four up on the big screen when the film hits cinemas on Wednesday.

The core of the Sex and the City TV series is its depiction of four Manhattanites and their bond. Over the course of the six seasons, we grow to know Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Samantha (Kim Cattrall), to empathise with their man troubles, cheer for their career successes and live vicariously through their regular weekend brunch dates. In Sex and the City 2 we're right back to their friendships, even more so than the first movie. Indeed, most of the sequel—all two and a half hours of it—is about the four of them together on a girls' weekend in Abu Dhabi, which means less of a focus on Big (Chris Noth) or Steve (David Eigenberg) and the return of Samantha in her full promiscuous glory. Hooray! The downside: while we focus more on the ladies, they sometimes prove to be a little frustrating. To see what I mean keep reading.
