Congratulations to new mum Kim Kardashian! Since starting out 2013 with her pregnancy news, Kim has taken her growing baby bump on a worldwide tour. She's made stops in Greece, Texas, Vegas, Miami and Brazil, just to name a few. Many of her travels have been work-related, but her jet-setting also included romantic getaways with boyfriend Kanye West, who splits much of his time between Paris and NYC. Along the way, Kim hasn't been shy about sharing details from this exciting time in her life, talking candidly about her pregnancy over the past few months. With her famous social circle, Kim Kardashian’s baby shower was always going to be a star-studded affair. The mum-to-be celebrated her impending arrival — she’s due in July — in Beverly Hills today, with guests including her mum, Kris Jenner, sisters Khloé and Kourtney, and friends Mel B, Kelly Osbourne, Maria Menounos and Kimberly Stewart. Her boyfriend Kanye West was also on hand for the occasion despite reports he was possibly going to be a no-show; he was apparently worried about being the only male at the baby shower, but he arrived with Scott Disick and Lamar Odom. Kanye also brought his family along.

It was a brunch event and People reports that guests enjoyed waffles, pancakes and fruit. Activities included the usual baby shower games like guessing the baby’s name. Some of the female guests also wore wreaths made out of baby’s breath in their hair, such as Kelly, who swapped her studded headband for the more appropriate headpiece.

The baby’s sex was also revealed in the season eight premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which just aired — Kim and Kanye are having a girl!

As the Northern Hemisphere heats up, all our favourite celebs have been enjoying sunny days on the beach and in inner-city parks.
