Kim and Khloe Kardashian Pictures at Sydney Launch of Kardashian Kollection Handbags After Kim's Divorce

Kim and Khloé Kardashian made an appearance at Hugo’s in Kings Cross, Sydney, last night for the Kardashian Kollection handbag launch in Australia. The sisters had a full day of press after arriving in the morning, where they were asked questions about Kim’s recent filing of divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of 72 days. Kim repeated what she had outlined on the statement she posted on her website — that she didn’t marry for money or a TV show. They filmed an interview with Network Ten and spoke to Kyle and Jackie O, and at yesterday’s launch the sisters stuck together as they made their way down the press line. Kim could hardly muster a smile as they posed for photos, with Khloé’s husband Lamar Odom joining them for a few snaps, though she cheered up when she spoke to us about how much they love Australia, why they were excited to bring their bags Down Under, and some fun hair tips. Today Kim and Khloé will meet with fans at the David Jones store in Sydney after taping a live in-studio interview on Sunrise, as well as Westfield Miranda this afternoon. They’ll then head to Melbourne, where they’re expected to appear at Stakes Day on the weekend.

On bringing their Kardashian Kollection to Australia:
Kim: “We have our Kardashian Kollection of clothes in Sears in the States, and we started designing handbags, and then we got really into a collection. I’ve been to Australia tons of times. I love our fan base here. Everyone’s been so good to us out here that we really wanted to come out with a handbag line exclusively for Australia.”

On opening a Dash store in Sydney:
Kim: “We’ve talked about it, like where we would want to. Sydney is a place where I could really live. It reminds me so much of the States. It’s so laid back — it’s Lamar’s first time here, and he went out today by himself and he was like, ‘It’s so laid back, and everyone’s so nice.’ That’s exactly what I say to people when they ask if they should come here. I’m like, ‘You’ll love it.’”

On where they want to take Lamar while they’re here:
Khloé: “I would love to go to the zoo. Kim and I went to the zoo and we got to hold a koala and see a kangaroo — we had such a fun time. But I don’t think we have enough time [to show Lamar]. Or Bondi Beach, touristy things. We’ll have to drive by there.”

On how much input they had in the Kollection:
Khloé: “The entire collection. It’s our collection. Me, Kourtney and Kim design the entire thing ourselves.”
Kim: “We’re really heavily involved in the design process from start to finish. And that’s why we partnered up with Bruno. We’ve had the opportunity to partner up with people before; we wanted the creative control, and he [Bruno] really gave it to us.”

On the media in Australia:
Kim: “It’s been good.”
Khloé: “We just landed a few hours ago. We love Australia.”
Kim: “We’ve been smothered with Tim Tams. I’ve already had an entire box.”
