Kristen Stewart Speaking French Video at Cannes Film Festival

Kristen Stewart debuts On the Road at Cannes! Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we have your look at the actress as she tries out a few French words from the red carpet . . . Kristen Stewart came out to the Cannes Film Festival for the very first time today, and she's been brushing up on her French to prepare for the occasion. My Rosetta Stone has taught me lots of words like [speaks French] and [speaks French] and [speaks French], but I can't link anything together! Kristen showed off a few of the words she's learned to a reporter from TV Festival, while walking the red carpet in a glamorous high slit Balenciaga gown. Kristen posed for a few photos with Tom Sturridge, Garrett Hedlund, and the rest of her costars, but there was one person in particular who we were surprised to see there: boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Robert's film Cosmopolis doesn't debut at the festival until later this week, but he made the trip to France early to be there for Kristen's big night, arriving to the premiere looking handsome in a suit and tie. Even though Robert and Kristen didn't walk the carpet together this time, this was definitely a show of support from Robert, and we'll be waiting to see if Kristen returns the favor when his film debuts on Friday.
