Lara Bingle's $250,000 Aston Martin from Michael Clarke stolen in Bondi Beach

The $250,000 car cricketer Michael Clarke bought as a present for his fiancee Lara Bingle was stolen yesterday from the couple’s Bondi Beach apartment. The dark blue 2008 Aston Martin was swiped from a secure carpark underneath the couple's luxurious Campbell Parade complex on Tuesday night.

Lara had been in Melbourne while Michael played a Test match against Pakistan at the MCG, but returned on Tuesday and was home alone when the car was stolen. Lara is reportedly shaken up after the incident and Michael was returning from Melbourne to be by her side. Reps for the couple declined to comment, but Lara wrote on her Twitter page, “"Aston GONE ... KARMA. What a way to start a year ... I want it back.” And for the record, I love the Daily Tele's front page which features a picture of Lara's car with the headline, "Where the bloody hell are you?"
