Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner showed love on Sunday afternoon at the John Varvatos 10th annual Stuart House Benefit. Ben and Jen were the day's co-chairs, and they arrived together, posing for pictures separately and side by side, before heading into the event and taking the stage to help raise funds for Stuart House, a rape treatment centre. Ben welcomed the time with his wife, telling reporters that he's been relaxing with his family since winning best picture for Argo. He said, "I've been able to really just enjoy my good fortune in the last couple of weeks and sit back and kind of just take it in and not do anything, just eat ice cream on the couch. It's been a really nice time to hang out with my wife and that sort of thing, so we're just enjoying it."

They were among the many celebrity couples who turned out for the bash. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber looked right at home in the California sunshine, as did Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. Joe Manganiello made the rounds with girlfriend Bridget Peters, though Nina Dobrev was without her boyfriend and Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder.

It's been a massive week for celebs, with numerous different events meaning everyone who's anyone was out and about. It was a week of musical resurgence, what with two of our all-time favourite music makers — Destiny's Child and Justin Timberlake — getting back behind the microphone for the Super Bowl. In Australia, Miranda Kerr came back and stormed the catwalk for David Jones at the launch of their 2013 Autumn/Winter collections, and Michael and Kyly Clarke showed the world that marriage is working very well for them as they celebrated the Allan Border Medal. She is up against Jessica Chastain, Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Lawrence and Helen Mirren for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role for her work in The Impossible. Although she has been busy making the rounds at awards shows, she recently made time for a trip to Park City, Utah. Naomi debuted her new film Two Mothers with co-stars Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville at the Sundance Film Festival last week. The awards season excitement is far from over for Naomi, who heads to the Oscars — where she is nominated for the award for best actress as well — next month. Naomi is up for best actress for her role in The Impossible, which has garnered plenty of recognition this awards season — in fact her competition in the category, Jessica Chastain, gushed to her as they switched places in Ryan Seacrest's interview booth. Naomi was also nominated at the Critics' Choice Awards on Friday and will be back in the spotlight next month at the Oscars, where she's up for the best actress honour as well.

Showtime stars got together at LA's Chateau Marmont yesterday to celebrate their Golden Globe nominees. The cast of Homeland, including Morena Baccarin, Damien Lewis, Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin and more toasted their best TV series nomination. It was Claire's first public event since giving birth to son Cyrus last month and she had husband Hugh Dancy by her side for support. She's also up for best actress at today's big event.

Liev Schreiber, who stars in the network's upcoming Ray Donovan, attended with Naomi Watts, who is in the running for best actress — earlier in the evening they spent time with Naomi's fellow Aussies at the G'day USA Black Tie Gala. House of Lies' actor Don Cheadle and Episodes' Matt LeBlanc mingled during the dinner despite being up against each other in the best actor in a TV musical or comedy category. Naomi is up for the best actress award for her role in The Impossible. Naomi has had a very good week so far. She racked up a best actress nomination from the Oscars overnight and even won some praise from Robert Downey Jr. during his acceptance speech at yesterday's People's Choice Awards. Kate Bosworth and Naomi Watts hit the black carpet at last night's Audi Golden Globes kick-off bash in LA. The get-together marked the end of a big weekend for Naomi, who picked up an honour at Saturday's Palm Springs International Film Festival gala. She accepted the statue with a word of thanks for her two sons, Sasha and Kai, attributing their energy to "breathing life" into her performances. Another of Naomi's main men, her partner, Liev Schreiber, was on her arm for the party. They co-ordinated with Liev in a suit and Naomi in black Roland Mouret. Kate Bosworth, fresh off a big 30th birthday celebration, arrived with her fiancé, Michael Polish. Kate stuck with the black theme, donning Emilio Pucci. Kate and Naomi mingled among a star-studded crowd that included Modern Family buddies Eric Stonestreet and Julie Bowen, as well as Bryan Cranston, Louise Roe and Jamie Chung.

Hugh Jackman got a little support from his famous friends when he was honoured by the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC last night. Hugh's Les Misérables co-stars Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne were on the scene to help celebrate his honour. Their director, Tom Hooper, also turned out, as did Hugh's pal Liev Schreiber. The event happened on the SAG Award nominations, which took place overnight, where Hugh and his co-stars got lots of love. Their nods included including best ensemble, best actor for Hugh, and best supporting actress for Anne.

Although Anne went dark and dramatic in Tom Ford at Monday's Les Misérables film premiere, she opted for a light-pink and silver Nina Ricci dress yesterday. Anne recently opened up about her now infamous wardrobe malfunction at the premiere, calling the experience "devastating."

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out in a shimmery cocktail dress from Vivienne Westwood in NYC last night. She was joined at the New 42nd Street Gala by Australian actress Naomi Watts and her partner Liev Schreiber. Liev and Naomi chatted with press before the event and were later spotted leaving with their sons, Sasha and Kai. It was fitting that Naomi was on hand for the celebration, as this year's event honoured the Australia Council For the Arts. Fellow Aussies Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman were the honorary chairs for last night's event, though Hugh missed out on the festivities as he's currently on the road promoting Les Misérables. Naomi's been hanging on the East Coast in recent days spending time with her boys, but she'll soon be packing up and heading to California where she's expected to attend an LA press day this weekend for her forthcoming release, The Impossible. Early Oscar buzz is already surrounding the film, which is based on the true story of a family caught in 2004's tragic tsunami.
