Marie Claire I Do Campaign Pictures For Same-Sex Marriage With Rachael Taylor, Jennifer Hawkins and More

Marie Claire gathered some of Australia’s brightest stars for their new “I Do” campaign in the July issue, which is on sale now. In the campaign, the magazine and celebrities pledge their support for marriage equality, and cover star Rachael Taylor, Jennifer Hawkins, Megan Gale, Magda Szubanski and more wear “I Do” white T-shirts for the cause. Here’s what Jennifer and Megan had to say on the issue of same-sex marriage:

• Jennifer Hawkins: “Everyone should have the right to get married and have a special day — everybody loves the same way, so they should be able to celebrate it in the same way. I have a lot of gay friends, so I want them to be happy.”
• Megan Gale: “Love is quite commonly referred to as being universal and having no boundaries. With this in mind, I find it quite unbelievable that we can be living in a modern society, in a country like Australia, yet still not have the support from the government to allow all couples the right to be legally bound.”
