Mark Wahlberg was joined by Rebel Wilson for the premiere of their film Pain & Gain at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood last night.

Mark Wahlberg was joined by Rebel Wilson for the premiere of their film Pain & Gain at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood last night. Mark and Rebel were accompanied by co-stars Anthony Mackie and Bar Paly and their director, Michael Bay, for the West Coast premiere, while Mark had his other leading lady, wife Rhea Durham, by his side as well.

Rebel, who sparkled in a red Theia dress at the event, shared a picture from last night's festivities and complimented her co-star on her Twitter, writing, "Mark Wahlberg is such a boss. We missed you The Rock, and send you kisses and hugs." Rebel was referring to their co-star Dwayne Johnson, who was absent from the LA premiere. Rebel's night out was just her latest in a busy schedule that included hosting the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month. It doesn't look like things will be slowing down for her any time soon, either, since just last week Universal announced that a sequel to Pitch Perfect will be released in 2015.

Mark Wahlberg Brings Pain & Gain to NYC and Addresses Boston Bombings

Mark Wahlberg wore an all-black ensemble to the NYC screening of Pain & Gain at the Crosby Street Hotel last night.

Mark Wahlberg wore an all-black ensemble to the NYC screening of Pain & Gain at the Crosby Street Hotel last night. He was joined by rapper 50 Cent, Peter Facinelli, who had girlfriend Jaimie Alexander by his side, and New York Giants football star Victor Cruz for the movie's NYC debut. Olivia Palermo and boyfriend Johannes Huebl also joined Mark to take in his latest film. Missing from the action was his co-star Dwayne Johnson, although he and Mark linked up last week to premiere Pain & Gain in Miami.

Last night was an unexpectedly sombre occasion for Boston native Mark on the heels of the Boston Marathon bombings. Mark took to his Twitter account yesterday to wish his hometown well, saying, "Thoughts and prayers with my hometown Boston today." Mark was torn between supporting his film and expressing his worry for his family members back in Boston, and he conveyed his true feelings about the tragedy in an interview with reporters last night, explaining, "I really didn't even want to come tonight. I hadn't really heard much — I spoke to my mum, and most of my family seems to be OK. It's such a big event, there's so many people there. It's horrible man. It's [expletive] disgusting, man. I just — I'm very upset."

Mark Wahlberg Steals a Shirtless Moment in Hawaii

Mark Wahlberg was shirtless yesterday for a walk along the beach in Hawaii.

Mark Wahlberg was shirtless yesterday for a walk along the beach in Hawaii. He's off in the tropics with his family getting a fun start on the New Year. Mark started 2013 on a high note — showing off his six-pack — and we'll see lots more of Mark's muscles in the coming months. He stars as a bodybuilder in the upcoming movie Pain & Gain opposite Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. One of Mark's older films, Ted, is still experiencing a great deal of popularity and was among the most rented DVDs at the end of 2012. Mark decided to give something back after his successful 12 months, and recently donated $10,000 to a youth centre in Malden, MA, not far from his hometown of Dorchester.

Everyone's Talking About Ted — Here's What You Need To Know

Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis star as John and Lori, a couple looking to take their relationship to the next level in Ted — yes, that movie with the talking teddy bear.

Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis star as John and Lori, a couple looking to take their relationship to the next level in Ted — yes, that movie with the talking teddy bear. And boy is he obnoxious! Rated MA15+, Ted came to life on the back of a wish John made as a child, and now that he's all grown up, his behaviour is out of control. Drinking, soliciting prostitutes, a love affair with Norah Jones (played by the singer herself) having sexual relations on the job — nothing is off limits for Ted. Written and directed by the Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane — who also voices the naughty bear — click through to get up to speed.

Mark, Mila, and Seth Team Up For Their Ted Premiere

The stars were out at Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Thursday night for the premiere of Ted.

The stars were out at Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Thursday night for the premiere of Ted. Mila Kunis, in a Christian Dior dress and Christian Louboutins, joined Mark Wahlberg and the film's writer-director, Seth MacFarlane, on the red carpet. Mark posed for a few photos solo, and was later joined by his wife, Rhea Durham. He told us initially he wasn't interested in starring in a film about a teddy bear that comes to life, but he came to see the potential in Seth's idea. Mark also said he's excited for the Entourage movie and may make a small cameo when it starts shooting next year.

Mila and Seth have worked together on Family Guy for over a decade, and when he asked her to read his Ted script over four years ago, she was happy to check it out. Right now, Mila's taking a break from Blood Ties to promote Seth's raunchy comedy. Later this year, she'll be on the big screen in Oz: The Great and Powerful. Seth told us he's excited for fans to see the film, and when we asked about a possible sequel, he said he'd love to do it. It was a special evening for some of the supporting cast members as well. Newlywed Giovanni Ribisi debuted his wedding ring and producer Scott Stuber, who welcomed a son with Molly Sims earlier this week, celebrated his good news with the cast and crew.

Jennifer and Johnny, Twilight and Hunger Games — Highlights From the MTV Movie Awards

Russell Brand opened this today's MTV Movie Awards in his typical irreverent manner.

Russell Brand opened this today's MTV Movie Awards in his typical irreverent manner. Bouncing from one off-colour celebrity topic to another, he finally said, "Wait until you hear what I have to say about short-lived celebrity marriages!" Russell, who filed for divorce from Katy Perry last December after 14 months of marriage, went on to thank Kim Kardashian, whose own 72-day union "took a lot of pressure off me." Russell went on to give a lewd shout-out to his former schoolmate Michael Fassbender and even riled up the rivalry between Hunger Games and Twilight fans.

Ted's Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg were the first to present, handing off the best dirtbag honour to none other than Jennifer Aniston. There was some unscripted drama, though, when Mark came to Mila's defence after an audience member made a rude comment. Further love went to best male and female performers Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence of The Hunger Games. Kristen Stewart and her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Chris Hemsworth presented the latter to an absent Jennifer, who's making a movie in Prague.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart managed to snag their fourth consecutive best kiss award for the Twilight series, but since he wasn't at the show, she accepted it solo. Kristen jokingly called up her SWATH co-stars Chris and Charlize Theron, and even asked for help from Taylor Lautner. Then saying, "That's OK, I do pretty well by myself," Kristen wrapped her arms around herself and pretended to be making out with someone.

Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Steven Tyler were on hand to give the 2012 Generation Award to Johnny Depp. Johnny accepted by accompanying The Black Keys for a musical number. With his daughter, Lily-Rose, in the audience, Johnny thanked his fans for the "amazing honour." Another big prize went to Emma Stone, this year's Trailblazer. She gave a heartfelt acceptance speech thanking her own idols and urging young people to try and be their true, unique selves.

Emma also did a stint on stage with her The Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield, and they were followed by Prometheus' Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron. Total Recall's Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel handed off the golden popcorn for best cast to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 gang, which was represented by Emma Watson. Magic Mike hotties Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum were interrupted by their shirtless co-star Joe Manganiello when presenting best transformation to The Hunger Games' Elizabeth Banks.

Before the best picture was crowned, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Christian Bale gave a sneak peek at The Dark Knight Rises. Finally, Breaking Dawn Part 1 was deemed movie of the year, with Kristen, Taylor and their co-stars taking the stage to say thanks. Be sure to check out all the MTV Movie Awards winners.
