Actor Matthew Newton has been named the new host of The X Factor. Matt recently finished a stint in rehab and started his new gig yesterday in Perth. The show is returning to Seven and features judges including Kyle Sandlilands, Natalie Imbruglia, Guy Sebastian and Ronan Keating. The show was previously hosted by Daniel MacPherson. Matt beat out more established hosts including Sonia Kruger and Axle Whitehead for the high profile gig. Will you watch The X Factor? Do you think Matt will make a good host?
