Megan Gale Pictures at David Jones Spring Racing Launch in Melbourne With Emma Freedman, Samantha Harris

Megan Gale was on hand for the launch of David Jones’ Spring racewear collections at the Bourke Street store in Melbourne yesterday, as part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. Megan and fellow DJs racing ambassador Emma Freedman talked about what makes for appropriate racewear, with Megan saying, “Definitely not a mini, or a maxi.” Megan also had advice on how to take the clothes beyond the race track: “Separates are a fantastic option if you’re budget conscious, you can team them with existing pieces in your wardrobe and make them go a long way, for example from the office to different racewear events.” Competing retailer Myer held their racewear launch last week starring Kris Smith and Rebecca Judd, who showed her post-baby body on the runway.
