Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Name Their Son Flynn Bloom; Photo of Miranda Kerr Breastfeeding

Finally, one of the baby announcements — and photos — we’ve been waiting for! Miranda Kerr wrote on her blog on her KORA Organics website that she and husband Orlando Bloom have named their bundle of joy Flynn! The supermodel mum also released the first shot of her son — while she’s breastfeeding him, no less — and writes:

On the 6th of January I gave birth to our beautiful little son Flynn. We cherish him. He weighed 9lb 12 ounces (a very healthy and big baby boy). I gave birth to him naturally; without drugs or painkillers and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him.

She also thanks readers and supporters for their well wishes. Before settling on a name Orlando’s mum Sonia revealed that they were struggling to find the perfect fit, and we think Flynn is adorable! So even though we’ve said it many times we’ll say it again: congratulations to Miranda and Orlando on their new son, “little ray of sunshine” Flynn Bloom!
