For weeks we’ve known that there would be “gatecrashers” on My Kitchen Rules but exactly how they would fit into the picture was revealed on last night’s episode. At the conclusion of group two’s instant restaurant round, WA mother and daughter team Lisa and Candice were eliminated after landing at the bottom of the leader board, and the remaining teams from group one returned to join their competitors in Adelaide. Judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel revealed that the scores from group one and group two had been put together, and that the bottom three teams — Lisa and Stefano, Ali and Samuel, and Dan and Steph — were in danger of elimination and would be going around the country again. (The show introduced a third instant restaurant round last year.) As to who their competition would be — that’s when the door opened to reveal three new pairs of contestants. NSW best friends Ashlee and Sophia have already caused a stir in promos with their comments (will it be like the Spice Girls all over again?) so click through to meet the gatecrashers! The new round of instant restaurants kicks off tonight.

I' m gone too, this is supposed to be a show about cooking, not two 'catty' little bitches! The show has lost it's appeal and integrity by putting these 2 bimbos comments on behind other contestants backs, your show does not have to 'stoop' to this level.

Congratulations MKR. By bringing this bitchy pair (Ashlee & Sophia) into the competition, and remembering the Spice Girls before, you have helped to set back racial regard in this country by decades. Shame on You

Ashely & Sophia should get eliminated for their rudness! They think they are so cool and 'perfect' but no one is perfect and if you ask me they are FAR from perfect! The key to Hospitality is working together as a team so that you can get through service & produce amazing dishes! Ashely & Sophia may work together as a team but they don't work well with others at all!

I'm not one to write my views on TV shows or their contestants but in this instance I must. Being from a migrant background myself these two women/children (Ashley and Sophia) are a disgrace to their culture and an embarrassment to all immigrants. Although they may think they are ' COOL' they are sadly mistaken. Thank goodness they are not my children. Take a good look at yourself girls and stop being an embarrassment to all cultures.

Ashley and Sophia are a disgrace. I a time when we are trying to stamp out bullying and hatred in the world, channel 7 should rather kick them off or tone them down. It's hard to teach children about love and compassion when this is broadcast.

I really wish Ashley & Sophia would just go away , I find myself yelling at the tv, they are out & out bitches, I would be ashamed to have either of them as my daughters. They also think that they don't stink but guess what girls, you do & you are BOTH so rude.

Ashlee and Sophia should just grow up! Such nasty, nasty comments continuously! They are just so smug! And hey... where is the variety and versatility girls? Asian food is lovely, but really? Are you capable of cooking anything else? You should be ashamed of your attitudes and you are seriously putting your culture and people to shame! I have beautiful asian mates and they are not nasty like you girls, not surprised that a lot of people think all Asians are nasty if they judge by your example! Shame job BABES! ( not!)

It started with Spice girls and now, the replacement, Ashlee & Sophie are here. Also the proposal to Lisa seemed planned too. I was watching carefully to see reaction on judges' faces, I ralised that the camera did not even show one glimpse of them. I wonder why? hmmmm The only reason could be that this season producers are gone completely mad due to the competition of cooking show on the rival channel and they are thinking of all crazy things to boost the ratings. Obviously they underestimate the viewers and think we only watch this show for their stupid rating tactics and not for actual cooking.

Watching the show has become extremely uncomfortable because of the rude and obnoxious attitudes of Ashley and Sophia. Like Maureen, if I was their friend or their parents I would hang my head in the shame of association. They discredit proud and dignified cultures where personal ethics are paramount. I have watched MKR with much pleasure up until now. These girls are diverting the show from being an exciting cooking competition, celebrating every day passionate, exciting and innnovative cooks, cooks who are prepared to follow their heros of the kitchen, open a wide range of books and quisines, into an exhibition of nasty, inexcusable behaviour. Please, in the interests of the Show, remove them on the basis of poisonous attitudes and behaviour. By this point in the show I am not interested in whether thay can cook or not - how can they be judged when there are so many conflicts and other factors involved as to removing the focus from the food to personalities. These girls are examples of such provocation that is ruining the show. Very, very disappointing.

Ashley and Sophia are hideous human beings,l truly feel sorry for their parents, if they were my children I would bow my head in shame. I really hope every thing that can go wrong goes wrong when its their turn to cook. Pete and Manu please stand up to these girls, because they make a total joke of the show. These girls have no class what so ever, and I personally think they're as common as pink grass. Please girls don't speak of dumb because not either of you are one of the brightest peanuts in the packet.

I love watching a cooking competition not a bitching competition and Manu and Pete its ridiculous that you just sit there and support that stupid behaviour of those two immature girls. It was bad watching the other two so called spice with their disgrace attitude. It just makes you, not to want to watch the program. I don't know how they can make such disgrace of themselves, their families, their culture. I don't know why you would want a program like that where people have such disgraceful attitude towards others and have no respect. If its for ratings its absolutely disgraceful to make a program like that. I want to watch a cooking competition where people are put under pressure, not a bitching program and where they make a disgrace of themselves, their families, their ethnic background and there state.

Angela and Melina are nice girls. Tonights episode was great,i loved the way Melina stood up to Ashley and Sofia. Cannot wait til next weeks episode and when its its there turn to cooK
