Music fans in California are halfway through day two of Coachella, the annual music festival that draws crowds of up to 95,000 people each year. This year, the lineup includes acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Lumineers, Tame Impala, The XX and many more, and plenty of celebrities have stepped out to enjoy the sun and sounds. Most notably? The abundance of celebrity couples, loved-up and showing it as they strolled the grassy grounds. Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger stole kisses, Robert Pattinson lead his girlfriend Kristen Stewart through the crowds, Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish stuck close together as they posed with fans, and Joe Jonas held hands with his Swiss girlfriend Blanda. What a happy week it's been on Twitter! Ellen DeGeneres, who has just wrapped up a whirlwind tour of Australia, sent out a lovely compliment to the people of Australia, and made sweet mention of her wife Portia, while Dax Shepard announced the birth of his and wife Kristen Bell's first child, a daughter whose name is super cute and maybe a little bit patriotic. Then there was Lincoln Lewis making funny mention of some suspicious sushi, Ricki-Lee finding some amusement on the streets of New York and Pink having a bit of a 'long hair, don't care' moment. April 2012 shall be known as ‘The Month Hollywood Came to Australia.’ Being so far removed from where all the action happens, it’s easy to see why we get so excited when celebrities make the trip Down Under. This past month we were overwhelmed with the amount of talent to hit our shores — not to mention all the hot guys who had girls losing their voices from screaming so much! At the beginning of April some of the A-listers who’d flown out for the launch of Marquee Sydney stayed around to do some sight-seeing, and then we had Zac Efron, One Direction, Chace Crawford, the stars of Battleship . . . At the moment we’re still playing host to Revenge’s Emily VanCamp and Joshua Bowman, The Five-Year Engagement’s Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, and Whitney Port, who’s here for MBFWA. We’ve got our fingers crossed that plenty more stars head our way soon!

Some of the international names who were flown in for the launch party of Sydney’s Marquee nightclub on Friday night took the opportunity to see some of Sydney Harbour on a boat ride yesterday. Paris Hilton, whose boyfriend DJ Afrojack provided some entertainment on Friday, stripped down to a printed cut-out one-piece and sunned herself on the deck. She also caught up with Sharni Vinson, who boarded with her camera-toting beau Kellan Lutz. Joe Jonas wore another bright pink top for the outing and chatted with Wilmer Valderrama, who seemed to be his purple carpet buddy at the Marquee opening. Other stars such as Nick and Vanessa Lachey and Ashlee Simpson flew out of the country on Saturday — Ashlee rushed home to make sure she didn’t miss the birth of her sister Jessica Simpson’s baby!

Sydney played host to a bevy of international beauties on Friday night when Marquee opened at The Star in Pyrmont. It was the hottest ticket in town with Paris Hilton, Ashlee Simpson, Minka Kelly, Vanessa Lachey, Sharni Vinson and Abbie Cornish jetting into town to join local ladies Erin McNaught, Jodi Gordon and Ricki-Lee Coulter to fete the opening of what looks set to be one of Australia's hottest clubs. There was a definite divide in the beauty camps with Isabel Lucas and Minka Kelly leading the charge for low-fi glamour, whilst Paris Hilton and Sharni Vinson went for all-out sultry looks.
