Tonnes of Stars Come Out For MOCA's 30th Birthday!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren't the only stars who headed out for the MOCA 30th Anniversary Gala in LA on Saturday night. The Jolie-Pitts skipped the red carpet, but there was more than enough star power even without the A-List couple. Kate Bosworth, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba showed some leg in shorter dresses while Rachel Zoe and Kate Beckinsale stuck with their floor-skimming looks. The event looks like it was a huge success, with at least one happy attendee — Rachel Zoe twittered about how much she loved the mixing of art and fashion worlds.

The museum's art wasn't the only thing on display for the night — Lady Gaga performed for the crowd, which also included some cute loved-up couples. Gaga played the piano and sang, wearing an outfit designed by Frank Gehry, Muccia Prada and Baz Luhrmann which were all part of an art piece. Gwen Stefani posed with Gavin Rossdale, while Neil Patrick Harris had his boyfriend David Burtka as his date. James Franco even brought out his longtime lady Ahna O'Reilly for the bash. Brad and Angelina took a tour of the pieces and apparently they're working on an art project of their own — the Jolie-Pitts are designing a line of jewellery for Asprey. The celebrities might have gotten the first look, but a collection celebrating the museum's first 30 years will be on display to the public until May.

what's with the drama? i think Jolie looked great as well as all of the other girls. they were there to purchase some arts which they did accdg. to getty and not to pose for the RC. did any of those celebrities who posed for the RC / PR purchased anything to help this gala? use your head people and stop hating. it won't do good for you.

Am I not entiled to make my comments? littlebobeep just for your information I don't worship anything or anyone. You are, after all entitled to your opinions and I have read quite a few of them and all of them are negative against Angelina and Brad. You just happen to worship her in a negative way because you are always here. If you find Angelina so disturbed, collecting and spawning children, which by the way is totally inappropriate remarks even for someone who dislikes her so much. Why must you make these types of comments at all?

Well, let's go back a hundred years or so and it was perfectly normal to have ten children or more... so six is kind of nothing compared to that. They have the money to support them and seem to be doing okay, so what's the problem?
Angelina Jolie is a very disturbed woman who washes her sins away by posing as a humanitarian. While noone can't deny that she donated money to charities, it's hard to forget that she was instructed by her team of PR people to take up charities to make herself more sellable in public eyes. Brad Pitt, I'm sure had no idea what he was getting into. Who in their right mind adopts kids like a mad woman? These two can barely manage being in public with 2 kids but they got 6!! Can anyone imagine them taking all six at once to a playground?
Emotionally disturbed I think is taking things too far. She is what she is, and there are many people with baggage... most of us in fact. She's no better or worse. Slightly pretentious maybe, but that's no big deal!

Some of the persistant Angelina bashers are here attacking like gnats. Maybe some of you need talk yourselves into believing your own BS to feel better. It isn't "hate" is pure envy and that has dull your brains. Don't you think that they can actually donate to humanitarian causes as well as other causes that are important to them? By the way, the photo shoot was done by Getty hired by MOCA and not some paparazzi. These negative comments are so redounded, you people keep repeating the same things like it really matters what you think.

OMG -- How does Pierce Brosnan's wife just keep getting bigger and bigger? I feel for her, but damn I think it's time to do something about that. She seems to weigh about twice the amount that would be "healthy" and "normal" for her body.
Why oh why does Angelina always wear the same dress???! Please, take the one that Marisa Tomei is wearing and she takes yours... or better yet: Angelina in what Rachel Zoe is wearing. It's gorgeous! So fed up with her black dresses and the long stringy hair! Have a hair cut at least, pretty please!

eva mendez is the epitome of what a gorgeous, sexy, sultry woman should look like, IMO. she makes me hate myself just a little bit.... kate beckinsale is usually gorgeous too, but i agree...enough w/ the 1 shoulder/column gowns and chandalier earrings. she looks like she should be at a different event...everyone else is in cocktail wear! angie...ugh..you can do better than that.... wtf is marisa tomei wearing?? she looks like a bottle of pepto! i actually think rachel zoe looks fab. super scary skinny, but still fab.
