Jennifer, Gwyneth and More Spend Thanksgiving in Morocco

While most Americans were chowing down on Thanksgiving last Thursday, some stars were all decked out for the re-opening of the hotel La Mamounia in Marrakech, Morocco. Jennifer Aniston led the way in her sexy black gown after arriving in town just in time for the party. Orlando Bloom had his glamorous girlfriend Miranda Kerr on his arm while Salma Hayek opted for a one-shouldered dress. Gwyneth Paltrow went with something lighter as she spent the holiday away from her family. Adrien Brody recently wowed us with his hot shirtless abs in Hawaii, but he also looked pretty dapper all dressed up to hit the red carpet.

No wonder Paltrow and Aniston's relationships are bad. They would rather be paid to go to the re-opening of a hotel and be with rich-famous people than with their own families! What priorites. How shallow and sad!

None of these people (except for Aniston) are "American" by birth, so why would they care about an American holiday like Thanksgiving? I'm not sure if Paltrow was born in the U.S. or not, but she now lives abroad and her kids are still in school in the U.K. - not on holiday like American kids are. Aniston isn't married and doesn't have any kids. From what I've heard, she's really not close to her family anyway. This would be a fun getaway for anyone really. All look good in the pix but I really don't like Aniston's dress. The color, but especially that style, makes her look too matronly IMHO.

don't forget that miranda, orlando, and salma aren't american, so probably don't have an attachment to thanksgiving- they didn't grow up celebrating it. so they might as well go to morocco!

Why does it worry you so much that she is single. Lots of women are on their three or fourth man, married or live-ins and I can't see that is any better. If you are busy, happy, and living a full life then it's just as good. Lots of single women are raising a house full of kids alone and that isn't ideal either. Life isn't always perfect but I do think Jen is capable of picking her own man without all the gossip.

They all look gorgeous in their own right. They can do whatever they want of their personal lives. Whatever their philosohy in life like celebrating Thanksgiving Day in foreign land, it's their choice. You don't need to be a slave on that red letter day but rather have a gesture of thanksgiving in anyways. They still give priority on their work, careerwise. Strike while the iron is hot, these celebrity things are only good when you're still young and fresh and later they could celebrate every Thanksgiving Day with ease when they are on retirement period. That's life for them and we know that money can't buy everything but we do know that money can facilitate everything since the world evolves only with money as a necessity which can make us happy. They are so lucky enough where they are and it's just another kind of world from the rest of us. I admired them to handle things which is out of normality and that's the price of being a celebrity.

mirranda kerr , salma, and gwyneth look great. anyway, none of these people are alist anymore. i mean, when was the last time any of them were in a good movie? orly and salma dont even make films anymore, gwyn is the g/f of the action star, and aniston is in 1 rehashed rom com after the other. so kerr has the best career right now.

Anon#4 - you have got to be kidding right? Jennifer Aniston has one of the best bodies in the business, Gwenyth is no less thin (and not as toned), Miranda has taken thin way too far (which isn't attractive in the slightest) and Salma has a great body (she rocks that dress BTW) but personally I prefer Jennifer's more althetic body. Anyway - I don't think it would suck in the slightest to be Jennifer Anniston!

I have started just reading Pop Sugar, People and Gossip Cop. The stories are usually true, most of the people on the sights are polite and enjoying reading about the people the story is about and keep their replies nice. I don't think it is necessary to run anyone down to make someone else better. If you don't like someone isn't it just easier not to even read about them. Why would you care?

I don't know many that wouldn't take a free vacation like that if it were offer. Jen had her Thanksgiving last week so why not. They all look great, everyone of them. Are all you people home with your kids and man so bored and disgusted that you have to hate on people you don't know.? That doesn't sound like a great and happy Thanksgiving to me. I thought you give Thanks, not hate.

Gwyneth gave her standard obnoxious rhetoric. "Thanksgiving is an AMERICAN holiday. They don't celebrate it in the UK." Thanks hag. I guess if you don't eat and your husband is making out with younger hotter actresses you might as well take a free trip to Morocco! Not a good idea to stand next to Miranda though.

la mamounia is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. it's not a hilton, that's for sure. they wanted big names for their grand reopening and they got them. everyone looks great. not a fan of miranda kerr (think for a model she is average at best) but she looks nice here. hate gwenyth so i will refrain from saying anything further about her...
