Vanity Fair's New Hollywood Issue Features Aussies Mia and Abbie!

Vanity Fair rounded up nine of the brightest young stars for its annual "Hollywood Issue" and included Aussie actors Mia Wasikowska and Abbie Cornish. Woot woot! Kristen Stewart is also featured on the cover, along with Carey Mulligan, Amanda Seyfried, Evan Rachel Wood, Emma Stone, Rebecca Hall and Anna Kendrick. Anna Kendrick represented team Twilight with Kristen, though she opened up about her crazy year of promoting movies with both Robert Pattinson and George Clooney. When asked about who she talks about more, Anna said, "At this point it's George. I've given up on talking about Rob. I usually say, 'He's great.' Team Kristen!" The issue hits newsstands in the US on Feb. 9.

Annie Leibovitz should have known...she always has to add some 'nonconformist, potentially dirty sex undertone' ie Kristin Stewart. I hate her work.

Some of these choices are good. Carey Mulligan, Mia Wasikowska, Amanda Seyfriend have the talent and intelligence to have a long career, they're landing interesting roles. Abbie Cornish doesn't have much lined up but she's not any less talented. I'm not sure about the others though, I kind of suspect we won't be hearing much from them in a couple years... I would have liked to see Gabby Sidibe, it's sad that there remains this bias in favor of conventional Hollywood looks.

That was my first thought also, where is the diversity? Its hard to believe that in 2010 still not much representation or appreciation for people of all ethnicity's. Gabourey Sidibe was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Sag Award this year, why didn't she make the list for "Hollywood 2010". Its ridiculous the same non sense over and over again.

I agree!!!! Where's Gabby Sidibe!!!???? Unbelievable. Actually totally believable. This, afterall, IS the magazine that features young (usually white) women from wealthy families having a grand ol' time at Debutantes' Ball in Paris. so compelling!

You've got to be kidding me with this lack of diversity! It's absolutely appalling. Hollywood 2010 is shaping up to look exactly like Hollywood 1910: WHITES ONLY, MINORITIES NOT ALLOWED...UGH!

Emma Stone is the redhead right? I love her, she's hilarious! I hope to see her in more. A few of them I don't recognize by name or face. Abbie Cornish? Ha. You can't sleep with the husband of America's Sweetheart and be the next big thing. Besides, from what I've seen of her acting skills, she doesn't have much going for her. I almost didn't recognize Evan. She's blonde again. Looks good, but she kinda weirds me out now. Has anyone actually seen Carey in anything? I know she was in An Education, but I don't know anyone who saw that. I The styling of the photo shoot is gorgeous- hair,makeup,costume, lighting.

Ah, I see. So "New Hollywood" means white, white and more white? And let's not forget thin and waifish too. Where's Gabby Sidibe here? HUGE mistake, Vanity Fair. Congratulations on a very pretty picture, but shame on you for going for aesthetic over true talent.

The 2008 Hollywood issue featured Zoë Saldana and America Ferrera as part of the group. At least that year there were a couple of diverse actresses. Dang! It's too bad diversity in Hollywood is still an issue. But hey, at least there's diversity in our White House! That's where it matters most!!!

I know everyone is going to go crazy because Kristen is on the cover.I'm glad Anna, Amanda,and Emma are on the cover.They could of thrown some diversity in the mix though.Where is Zoe or even Freida.

seriously, where's Zoe Saldana? this spread is like a salad with nothing but lettuce, bland and boring...holly-weird is so predictable...but I love that even for such a shoot, Kristen came stoned and ready to go lmao
