Beyoncé Knowles sacrificed ease of walking for the sake of fashion in a skin-tight gown at tonight's 2011 Met Gala in NYC. She had husband Jay-Z on her arm, looking dapper as usual in a tux, while their good friend Kanye West made his statement earlier in the evening, debuting Tory Burch's menswear. Beyoncé and Jay-Z apparently made a bit of a stir upon their arrival when they tried not to pose together, but apparently they gave in, and we're happy to see the striking duo side by side.
