Blake Lively covers the October issue of Allure. The release is perfectly timed to help promote the new (and final) season of Gossip Girl ahead of its Oct. 8 debut in the US. Of course, at the moment, more attention is on Blake's marriage to Ryan Reynolds than new episodes of her show. She and Ryan tied the knot Sunday in Mount Pleasant, SC. She wore a Marchesa gown, and Ryan donned Burberry for the star-studded event, which brought their famous friends like Florence Welch, Bette Midler, and even some of her Gossip Girl co-stars to the Charleston region. Blake spoke about her present happiness in the new issue of Allure, and alluded to her love of the South. Here are highlights from Blake Lively in Allure:

On where she is in life: "Right now, I'm so peaceful . . . I've never been happier in my life. . . . It's the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, 'There's no reason today can't be the best day of my life.'"
On wanting a big family:"I've always wanted a big family. . . . Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could."
On her body and loving the South: "I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body, but I'd rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South."
