In less than six hours’ time, Rachael Leahcar, Darren Percival, Sarah De Bono or Karise Eden will be crowned the first winner of The Voice Australia. The four finalists performed twice last night — one cover song, one original — and were lavished with praise from their respective coaches Delta Goodrem, Keith Urban, Joel Madden and Karise Eden, who have been with them every step of the way from the moment they turned their chairs in the blind auditions.

But there can only be one winner. Only one can walk away with $100,000 cash, a contract with Universal and a Ford Focus Titanium. Karise seems to have the short odds, but Sarah has the social media odds. Who do you think will win The Voice tonight?

Alleigh, you'll be happy to know that Darren, Rachael and Sarah will also be releasing albums - with singles dropping tomorrow!
Well....I was going for Darren. They only let Racheal through coz shes blind. But in the top 4??????? REALLY???? Sarah- 2nd vote. And Karise- ewwwwww. Not my taste at ALL. GOOD LUCK DARREN 4 FUTURE :) AND SARAH :)

Sara De Bono should definitely win. Karise sounds like scratching a chalk board, Darren is boring, and Rachael doesn't have that great of a voice. Sarah ftw!
I really wanted Rachael to step out of her comfort zone and try a variety of music styles, because I believe she has the ability to sing any kind of song and make it special, however for whatever reason she never did or was given the opportunity to try something different which is such a shame, because I feel like she could have had a much better chance to win if she had. I blame Delta.
Karise has far more soul than all the others, they all make me want to put ear plugs in because their voices are either grating (Sarah) or boring (Rachael & Darren). Although I think Sarah's original song last night was quite catchy and the best of the bunch. However, even though I think Karise has a lot of potential I agree that she shouldn't over-use (abuse) that interesting thing she does with her voice, because it can become too much if it's all over a song.

Don't know why Karise is that popular really? she is ok, but not a voice I'd want to hear that often, so much other talent out there, esp some of the other guys that have been sent home. Come on, what's wrong with you aussie people, hard luck stories or -The Voice!

All of the contestants are talented in their own right but we are looking for the VOICE here so my vote goes to Karise Eden, yes her voice is definitely an acquired taste but if you're musically inclined and have a well trained ear Karise is the clear winner, her voice in totally Unique and not just another Kelly Clarkson impersonation. Her performance last week gave me goosebumps. Karise to win! Good luck to all.
Sure, Karise OBVIOUSLY (as emphasized only to her...bias) has something...but so have the rest based on your assessment that the coaches are experts in the industry. So, give all of the singers credit...why only ONE? I am sure all 8 semi-finalists will go and have a career. End of the day, its the voting public. Whichever Voice they find to be their preference, the votes go to the selected one. Everyone's a winner but there can be only one. So may the one with the most votes win and good luck to all of them.
how can you talk about talent like Karise Eden she OBVIOUSLY has something if all 4 judges turned around as soon as she opened her mouth and Im pretty sure they know what they are talking about after all not like you they have been in the music business for many years so you are a minority that doesnt know anything about music I hope Karise does win shes had a hard life is very talented and would do very well and is the most popular out of all 4 either way I am sure they will all have careers out of this in the end so go Karise good luck to you.

I think most of the contestants have been under the weather! At the media conference on Tuesday, Rachael had lost her voice, Karise had a pretty bad cough and Darren said he'd been unwell - in fact Sarah's the only one who's been lucky to get through without getting ill. Delta likened it to athletes who have to work through their injuries. Hopefully the contestants all feel better by this weekend!
Second post on Karise's voice...I agree. Its a scream, especially in her last song...Hallelujah. Its my opinion she's got a good voice but not the best. But of course people like different things, songs, era, voices as we are humans. This show is about the Voice (not so much the song type). So what if Rachael loves different era songs (which I think is nice for a young artist to remind us of beautiful old yet still classic pieces), or Darren giving his heart and soul to the music he puts out. End of the day, its the Voice. Some may like Karise's type of voice or Sarah's pop style which is very listenable. If you want to buy a CD listening to 12 songs of say Karise's type of sound, you probably end up flicking to the next song and the next quickly like buying a CD of a singer/band who has 1-2 main hits. That's life! As for first post, Rachael had flu and laryngitis, therefore a difficult performance for her but sick or not, her courage to sing and held the big note at the end is commendable. That last note by her sounded much more pleasant than Karise's high note on her song. Darren who was sick also had passion and surely he is the one to watch out for. Sarah will do very well generally as she has pop star type of singing. Sticking with Voice only, its my opinion (and you are free to choose yours) that Rachael's voice is pleasant and appeals to young and old.
How can Karise win she is terrible, she makes me cringe so badly, compared to the others she sucks, her voice in annoying and that's to say the least if she wins then australia has disappointed me and so has the voice
I would love to see Karise Eden wins. She has the best vocal and can go higher. last night Rachael Leahcar did not performe that well.
