Now that the London Olympics are over, Channel Nine is launching straight into its post-Olympics offerings, and first cab off the rank is the most-talked-about Big Brother, which premieres tonight at 7 p.m. Last week we gathered up all the little bits of info we’d heard about the reboot, and over the weekend more TV bites came through, including information about the first housemate: a 23-year-old NSW country girl called Zoe.

Big Brother was a hit when it first launched in 2001 but much has changed over the years — we have an overwhelming amount of reality TV that’s often “stripped” across weeknights, and social media has made a huge impact to how we watch it. Viewers are also keen to see how Sonia Kruger handles the important job of hosting the new series, and then there's the fact that the show is aiming for a more “family-friendly” format. Will you watch Big Brother?

They need no elimate anyone, but make it a points system. But skewed in such a way that the higher points you have you get a little less than someone else lower on the leaderboard. Or they need to do it like survivor and have the live broadcast delayed 3 days, so if they eat all the food we wouldn't know until 3 days later, lol. Make it that anyone can watch any camerea also.....
No way. I am wondering when television producers realise the public is over these rubbish programmes.
Fortunately I am not sufficiently brain dead to be watching that rubbish having much better things to do with my time. Even the adds polluting the Olympics telecast were enough for me to change channels.
Stuck at home recovering from an operation so watching more TV than usual. I'd rather be operated on again with limited ansethetic than sit through this rubbish.

Not a chance. Cannot wait for it to be over already. Seems like its been on forever with all the adds we have had to endure. Could some one tell me how to take the number nine off my remote. No way I will be watching. Channel nine if you have to show then put it on one of your other channels.
Sweet Jesus, please make it stop!! I get headaches just being aware it's in existence and knowing i have to avoid that station completely to avoid even the ads that will swamp it's broadcasts. Just when we thought it was safe to back into channel nines scheduling. . . . .
No I won't be watching because it's a boring load of rubbish
