Katy Perry is one of the celebrities we wish we could know a little better away from the bright lights and out of costume. That’s why we’re all hanging out for the release of her biopic Katy Perry: Part of Me (only at the movies July 2), which is described as a “3D backstage pass, front row seat and intimate look at the fun, glamorous, heartbreaking, inspiring, crazy, magical, passionate, and honest mad diary of Katy.”

To celebrate the release of Katy Perry: Part of Me, we’re teaming up with Paramount Pictures to give away 10 in-season double passes to see the movie. To be in the running, all you have to do is tell us in the comments section below which of Katy’s songs is your favourite, and why.

Teenage dream. For some reason I can't pinpoint it evokes memories of my own teenage years and the dreaming and yearning to take things with my partner at the time further. It makes me want to be a teenager again. Not only that it's an amazingly catchy song!

Part of me because i think it send the right message to people about staying true to ones self and believing that you can get through whatever life throws at you especially in love situations. It also sends a great message about not letting other people try to influence/take away things that make you who you are even if i makes you different from everyone around you, Individuality is key because who really wants to be another sheep in the herd we call society. Also the song is pretty catchy haha

My favourite song is Wide Awake. The lyrics are so emotional, powerful and personal. It really shows another side of Katy Perry that I really love hearing and seeing. It shows how everyone has once in a dark place and there will be a time where you open your eyes and move forward with your journey.

My favorite song is wide awake because it shows people that celebrities go through the same things we do and it shows us that we need to get back up when we fall down. It shows us we can feel like we are in a dream or on cloud nine sometimes but we have to wake up and face the obsticles in our lives. Lastly, it tells people that as we grow up we need our younger selves to help us remember the times when we were young and felt fearless and that we could do anything. Sorry that was kinda long but I absolutely adore Katy Perry :)

Thinking of you. It is one of her less known songs, but is just my favourite. The meaningful lyrics and her soft tone shows a different side of her that I love. A very relatable and touching song.

I love the song "Part Of Me" by Katy Perry because it talked about how strong she still is despite going through a tough time, but still not have everythng taken away from her. Such an inspirational song to stay strong.

“Last Friday Night” is my favourite because of its hilarious video clip. Through her nerdy, soduko-doing, glasses and braces-wearing alter-ego Kathy Beth Terry, Katy shows her fans that she is not afraid to dork it up and have a laugh at herself unlike most of her image conscious pop-star peers, and we love her all the more for it!

Firework. The line "You don't have to feel like a waste of space" made me sit up and take notice. I grew up being told that I was a waste of space and this song made me realise that I can do anything. I don't have to fit in with somebody else's opinion of me.

Firework is my favourite song because it expresses that everyone that is on this world can achieve what they want if they just put their heart to it. The moral is nothing is impossible and anything can be achieved. It is also a very good song and it is very well written. I love this song because i get inspired from it so much to put 110% in everything I do so i can succeed it. When ever i feel that something cannot be done i listen to this song and then it makes me try harder. I hope everyone feels the same about this song and good luck to all the contestants <3. And remember, you guys can do anything if you ignite the light and burst like a firework :).
